Florida Caverns State Park/Falling Waters State Park/Merritt's Mill Pond

Traveling further into the Florida Panhandle, we make a quick stop at Falling Waters State Park to see the falls. Just a few miles down the road we made it to our final destination, Florida Caverns State Park where we'd camp for the next couple of days. We took the cavern tour and hiked the many trails at the park, but rather than kayak the Chipola River, we opted to try out Merritt's Mill Pond just down the road. What a great choice! It was amazing.

We stayed one night at the Falling Waters Stare Park
I didn’t know about the cave park. Looked awesome.

If you are ever in the area again you should stay of Florida Caverns State Park. The tour was fun, GREAT camping, and a couple of good trails. We really liked Merritt's Mill Pond.
