Ended up sounding better than I thought. Sometimes a complete muffler delete on a V6 can sound a little rough. This one did not.
Sounds ok, but I am convinced now that a Vibrant resonator makes any V6 sound better.

Good ol Pentastar sounds good! Hardly any rasp, despite straight piping. This was one of the best years for the GC because you could get the air suspension without going to the Overland and spending $$$ more.
The issue with that is that Jeep’s air suspension sucks. I’ve seen so many posts of people’s air suspension going out.
@@ThatBaggedWK2 I've had two('13 Overland and an '18 Summit) and never had an issue except in super cold temps (-20). The system is a closed loop design and rarely if ever lose air. But the compressor can be problematic in bone cold temperatures. Early models did have issues with the lines atop the strut tower, but thats an easy fix.
@@hellkitty1014 I have a 2014 overland and have had nothing but problems with the air suspension. Compressor pump has gone out twice and it seems like every other month I go outside just to see the cars front end nearly touching the ground bc the air suspension went out. Keep in mind I live in Florida too so I don’t think cold weather is necessarily the problem
I blew a bag in my 2017 trailhawk when I got it but after getting it fixed I set it to go into the lowest hight every time it’s put in park so the bags never have any down time from being used and ever since it hasn’t had any issues, it’ll glitch out every now and again but never any major problems knock on wood. Seems when the system doesn’t get used often is when they do have issues. Just my 2 cents have a good day!

Sounds good for a v6
If he wanted a deep burble or a mellow tone then he is not getting it from deleting the resonator and mufflers on a Pentastar V6. Sounds like a G35 with an Ebay catback on it.
True. It’s not terrible but it does sound weirdly high pitched for a grand Cherokee. Adding a muffler or a good full catbsck system would’ve sounded better.
I got a 18 JGC V6 and I thought about putting super 10s on it but this doesn’t sound bad. I want the more aggressive sound

well heck it just trying to basically make it sound like a rally car than anything else maybe try to do it on a V8 Grand Cherokee next time because no matter what cars have/come with a V6 some might sound good straight piped and others not so much at all

the same thing as chrysler 300 v6 and challenger v6 well is the same parts so
I would’ve mid mounted some Flowmaster 40 series mufflers with a Y pipe into the resonator delete. This does not sound good.

One thing Ill never get is why people odify some certain types of car. What makes it worse is when its clearly a base model like a v6 when a v8 is available. Appreciate the shops work but not the owners taste.
Because it’s what car they have. Not everyone can afford better models or the gas for a v8. Who cares what other people do with their cars. It’s obviously not like he bought it to make it a race car.
