Yes! I am VERY fortunate. When I moved in this house, the garage was a mess. Super dark, no lights, no workspaces. But over time I have been able to make some big changes.
Awesome little basher,I love these little machines, you can have fun with them in a limited space and easy to carry around, as always great reviews and great videos, always looking forward to the next one!!!!
I have the brushed version of this platform and I really like it. I’ve always been interested in this one but as you said the price point was a smidge high for me. Even $150 is questionable considering all the great 1/16th and 1/14th brushless cars on Amazon nowadays. Personally I think $115 is a fair compromise between deerc and its consumers. I’ll be checking for this one come Black Friday. Thanks for another great first look.
I have the Deerc Tachyon and i am very happy with it too. I've played with it every day for 3 weeks now still haven't broken anything its pretty dirty now too. Got mine for $159.99.
These are pretty tuff for the price point including that $40 off coupon! to me you get a lot for $140. Another way to go about is buy a Brushed one for like $70-$80 and get a cheap brushless set up which might save you even more in the end! Either may be a great choice! Awesome and fair review Troy!
1st day 1 of my batteries junk but deerc is replacing it but again will be taking 2 weeks for the replacement as they don't have any in stock. The 2nd battery craps out early. I should of done more research before buying it.
@RoadsideRC car will run for 30 seconds and shuts off lights start blinking. Turn power off back on something. Sometimes it'll run maybe 5 minutes at full charge. Other battery will run 15-20 minutes. Wait for battery to cool off then charge again and it'll do same as 1st battery. Deerc is very easy to work with is a plus.
Does this come with 3s batteries ? I’m a novice and don’t know what 3s means but every video I see with a RC car with a 3s battery goes like a bat out of hell
Here is a quick guide for you: "X"s is a cell count. 1S = 1 cell. 2s = 2 cell. 3s = 3 cell. Each cell is good for 4.2V when fully charged. That means a 2S battery charges to 8.4V, while a 3S battery will charge to 12.6V. Clearly - more voltage means more power! Many vehicles can run various batteries. I didn't test to see if this truck would run 3S, but it did great on the supplied 2S.
looks good handy spare parts see pros and cons know your thinking upgrades on test pretty nippy its getting a good bashing you didnt break it *like👍Au💯full view😎have a great weekend🥨👺*
Guy, you have a sweet garage set up. Love the built ins and tool chests. I have always wanted a garage. My work area is in my basement.

This car is fully water proof

Like button smashed 😅
Great Video Troy😅
Thanks 😁
just got mine at a local pawn for 90 bucks
Nice! Great price!
but can he also drive slowly?
A little slowly
@@RoadsideRC The trigger has a large dead zone and a soft start is not possible
@@hansmuller6209 I didn't have that situation on mine.
@@RoadsideRC You don't have a dead zone on the trigger when driving forwards and backwards? And can you drive off smoothly?

Odd that the batteries have issues. You just say "junk" or "crap out". What actually happened with them?

@@Godlovesme4ever Probably not a battery issue, most likely a charger issue.
How are you charging it?
@@Godlovesme4ever Can you use a lipo checker to see the voltage per cell?

Can you grab one of those granite groms next and let us know which to buy first between it and the Gorgon? Battle of the 150ish bashers!
That is easy - the Gorgon.
I have tested a lot of small bashers like the Grom. They are fun, but just can't do what the bugger trucks can.
Pretty cool 👍🏻
