    I'm a big fan of bucket hat fan. I've had mine for several years. Always where it when I'm golfing. Mine is also vented with the mesh on the sides. The great thing about it is that I can just throw it in the washing machine with my laundry when its got "funky" then just let it air dry on top of the dryer.

      Hi Barry, I love my 2 bucket hats., Very crushable and comfortable. Provide great sun protection. Last a long time. Great selection of hats available. I love the Outdoor Research selection. Associate link amzn.to/3QvEGAU
      Especially their rain hat. They last for ever and provide a no drip down the neck experience... ha ha ha. 𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕜 𝕐𝕠𝕦 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕨𝕒𝕥𝕔𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘! ✅ Check my other videos th-cam.com/users/cosmoweemsvideos

    Fun video.
    Summer time stay home. Busy. Hot. Fall through spring, camping time. Just avoid hot weather camping.
    Dig solar panels. May try one day.
    Cheers.

    I just started camping close to home inspired by people like you Cosmo, at state campgrounds. The best time to go camping is during the week. There's almost nobody and you have most of the campground to yourself. And you can't beat the price. It's like 17 bucks a night in MA.

    Look at all that fabulous rain! We are parched here in the PNW (since that freak heatwave) and headed into 2 more weeks of parched weather (for the PNW). Stay cool. I'm trying to figure out what Jackery would be best for few nights of car camping or the beach and inevitable power outages in the fall windstorms, or fire like last September. Your videos inspire me keep my eye on the prize... (future trailer). *COOL* video.. ;) The ventilation in your trailer is very well designed.

    • @CosmoWeems
      @CosmoWeems  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Andrea. I hope some cooling rain is heading your way. Not sure of anyone noticed the rainbow in that scene. Which Jackery depends on how much energy you need. To keep phones, flashlights and small battery stuff charged or run an LED light I would not go smaller than a 500. It depends on a the users consumption needs and the duration of the outage. You missed my favorites. A water absorbant towel rolled up and put around your neck or opened up and put on under your hats. Use a nalgene in a coozie-like zippered cover to fill with ice in the morning; the ice will slowly melt and you re-wet the towels periodically through the day. One quart nalgene filled with ice will last the day. Absent ice fill the nalgene with the coolest water you have available

    During this year’s Ryobi Tools sale at Home Depot (usually near Father’s Day or Xmas) I got sale priced pair of the lithium batteries for my cordless drill & jig saw, and the (P3320) Hybrid Portable Fan as the free tool. It is a similar size can move a bunch of air, runs 17.5 hours on low & 8.5 hours on high. I already use my Jackery 290 for my CPAP, and thought this would be a good fan to move air in hot weather whether camping or at home during power outages. It was favorable in reviews by other campers.

    Question. I enjoy the reviews. Perhaps I missed a video but for awhile you used a Coleman (?) Clamshell shelter that covered the kitchen area of the trailer. I liked the insect netting aspect of that enclosure. Was there a problem with that item that made you move to the Alcove?

    • @CosmoWeems
      @CosmoWeems  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I thought the Jackery panels were not waterproof??

    • @CosmoWeems
      @CosmoWeems  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I know. Jackery says they are not waterproof. I am just showing my experiences. Mine have been in a lot of rain for sure. but they are still working fine. Your results may vary. I have no choice about rain. Its a fact of life where I camp. 𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕜 𝕐𝕠𝕦 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕨𝕒𝕥𝕔𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘! ✅ Check my other videos th-cam.com/users/cosmoweemsvideos
