I had another theory about why the doll in the beginning of the movie is being refilled with sand instead of stuffing.I think that the Bell-dam could need to reuse the sand inside her creations since there is no limitless supply and she doesn't want to waste it. So my theory is that when she creates a doll she fills the dolls always with sand, because of the reasons listed in the video, but because she needs this sand for her own world once the child has been captured and the Bell-dam and has their soul she replaces the sand with stuffing and sends it back into the normal world still to spy, but without the same mobility as the creations with sand. The doll will still always have that element of the other world but the sand is what makes them alive which is why the other mother saves it, she would also want no one else to have access to her powers.

At the beginning of the movie, we saw that the fairy changed a random doll into a doll that looks like Coraline, and she also changed her parents who you said work for her into dolls, and then Coraline burns it. Why would a fairy make dolls?? Why did Coraline burn it??? What would happen if she did not burn it???? I also noticed that the other world is mostly made up of dolls just like when the cat bit the mouse cotton came out of it not blood. Additionally, dolls have buttons sowed in their eye. I feel this is suspicious. Mabe the dolls are souls I guess.
