Best part of this video is the Dad teaching his son all kinds of stuff 😊. Hat's off to the young lad for doing a good job and staying interested, not on his phone or Xbox for an hour! 🎉

I 'm 74 years old and owned a 1964 Falcon. I did my own brakes back then. Why didn't you use a brake adjustment tool and "reverse" the adjustment on the inside of the drum to back off the pressure on the drums? ten or so reverse turns should release the drums is how I use to do it. The hub easily came off!

"alot" is not a word. You meant "a lot"

A lot could be said here...
1969 351. Except it has a 2 barrel. If it was originally a 4 barrel carb you would have a huge score there. Try to find out with codes on the heads. 69 4 barrel heads are great heads for a SBF performance build using Ford heads.
Not sure why people these days like the FMX. I worked in a trans shop back in the 80's and didn't care for them. If I were doing what you are doing I would sell the FMX to an FMX enthusiast and get a C4 to build. The FMX did shift pretty nice with a mild shift kit.
When I built my 289 I wish I would have stayed with a 2 barrel. I don't have enough engine there for a 4 barrel. Not only that. The secondary's are rarely opened anyway. A screaming 289 draws a lot of attention. My friends stock 289 2 barrel had better throttle response than my mildly built 289 with a Holley. If you are not going big, stay with a 2 barrel. It could easily be upgraded later if you wish.

Could be 351W heads on a 302 block too. He could look at the distributor mount and tell. If the distributor mount is almost flush with the top of the block it's a 302 or smaller. 351's are almost a inch and a half taller blocks.

Did you break in(seat) the new pads correctly? Did you check to see if you put the springs in their correct places?

The sudden blasting of loud rock music (at 50:09 for example) is not appreciated and doesn't serve any purpose.

Sanderson Headers have a set of headers for 351W in early Falcons (FF3GTS Small Block Ford Header Set)

") The referenced Sanderson header is a well made piece that will fit the chassis, however it on has a 1.5" primary tube diameter (vs. typical 1 5/8") so may not be optimum for higher horse power builds. I can state from experience that us US Sanderson header fits well and performs well for that chassis.

Both father and son should wear eye protection when working under that rusted junk. The kid doesn't know any better, but the parent should.
