Probably the best comment we've had because that is exactly what Digit9 is all about! Thanks for watching and we're absolutely stoked if you've learned something on our channel.
just narrowed my 05 king cat to something like 34in i think, did that a couple months ago along with putting a m7 steering post in it. It went from a long track trail sled to one i can actually side hill and hold it on edge. ended up building my on shock mounts and hacking up the a arms, bending modifying etc. turned out good
Hey I just wanted to let you know that my belt was slipping on my arctic cat f7 and so I but a new one on and she runs great. Thank you for helping me.
I have a 93 thundercat. I don't know much about the clutching on it but at some point it had NOS. So idk if anyone ever did anything. But it seems like at some point it falls flat. I have videos on my channel of you could listen to it. Thank you.
How much did you need to shorten the steering arms and how did you determine that amount? I am looking at putting this type of kit on my 2020 Polaris Assault. Thanks!
Just changed my front end on 2020 sks from 39" to alt impact 36" from t-rex. Did u end up adjusting springs? I feel like mine has way to much ski pressure than before but instructions say leave shocks original. Whats your take?
On your steering arms did you cut off an inch per side or a half inch total. I’m currently in the process of converting a 13 to 36 and having same issue with steering rod
Hi again, yes I have a 2006 Arctic cat f7 and last week or so I talked to you about my sled and so it ran above 7,000 even with the belt on, on a jack. So we think it's the fuel filter or fuel pump. I was wondering if you have any ideas? Thank you I would really appreciate it.
Hey men, love your videos i have learned a lot. Iam trying to get hold of a post foward kit for an old 2010 skidoo summit, do you know someone selling them ?
Call Ken at Mountain Magic in Edmonton AB , 780-474-9400 ! Hes done alot of those , may have a kit or steer you in the right direction ! Tell him I sent ya !
Hey man I have an 18 assault I was thinking of doing this exact kit but I was told I can't use my stock shocks .just wondering if it really matters and also does the factory sway bar work aswell
Using the stock shocks , lifts the sled too high in front end , find a set of shocks from a Doo , they are a bit shorter ! I believe stock sway bar will still work
Hi, I have a 2006 arctic cat f7, a couple weeks ago, I asked you about my Snowmobile. So I got a used stator from eBay and I put it in my Snowmobile. It still won't go over 7000 RPMs. So I was wondering if you have solutions? Thank you.
Alternative impact is garbage. Literally had one ride and bent everything and the rod ends bent but never broke. Can't get a response from Alternative impact.
I narrowed my 2015 cat to the 36 . Was a game changer for me. I love it.
Love tinkering and working on sleds
Probably the best place to learn about your sled, love the videos

So much wind noise , cant hear shit ! But does sound like it upshifts way too fast , new belt and clutch springs might help !
@@DIGIT9 ok thank you. I'll try to get a better video. It was windy yesterday
@@DIGIT9 like even out of the whole it takes off then falls on its face. Thanks for watching. Oh did you subscribe? Lol
Sounds like clutching to me !
What kind of pipes are on it ?
Clamps layin by the door as they walk-in lmao

About an inch , depends how narrow you want to go ? You still have alot of adjustment with rod ends !
Thanks! Great video! Answered a lot of my questions on how to convert a front end!
@6:15 no guard no gloves no problem when using a zip cut
please do more videos on the 90s mountain mods theres not alot of info on them and i know theres a bunch hidden away in bc
I know of lots , what are you interested in ?
For me atleast i would love to see some modded early RMK's and such!
@@DIGIT9 any of the 80s and 90s mod sleds especially the long track builds i remember there being lots of wedge chasis long tracks around
Theres a few kickin around
Good stuff boys

try softening them up , experiment a bit , everybody rides differently
On your steering arms did you cut off an inch per side or a half inch total. I’m currently in the process of converting a 13 to 36 and having same issue with steering rod
We cut 1" off each side !
I feel like that 174 is special. Has a real CAC and zero downpipe after turbo. 174.... that must me impressive all things considered to ride

Okay thank you

Will it get to 8200 when you take the belt off ?
@@DIGIT9 I haven't tried that, I'll do that tomorrow. If it does what do you think the promblem is?
Clutching
Okay thank you so much, that's what I thought, I'll let you know what happens.
Where is the 36" measured from exactly? Carbide to carbide?
Yes
Hey I have a 2020 Polaris switchback assault would the rmk 36” a arms fit?
Yes , but front end will sit a bit higher unless you change shocks too ? Softening them up all the way helps but not the greatest !
Hey buddy I got a idea for you . Can you put a motorcycle motor on one of them sleds ? 4 stroke
not worth it
@@DIGIT9 can I ask why ? To heavy?
@@cocky-harry1804 yup
