Ahhhh! I grabbed the permanent marker and messed up my own board before realizing it. Used the dry erase marker like you suggested and it worked like a charm. Great tip!

I rarely comment on these, (even when they work), but I HAD to on this one! I have a white board that has had perm. marker on it for probably 2 years give or take. I decided to try this with 91% rubbing alcohol, even though he didn't speak to that, AND IT WORKED !!!!!! Very easily, I might add. So YES, this really WORKS !

Like someone else, my whiteboard contained writing which had been there for several years. The hand sanitizer method (same brand as used in the video) worked perfectly. I used kitchen roll instead of microfibre; the result was initially smudged but after a few more wipes, the board was totally clean. Thank you very much indeed.
