It’s shocking and mind boggling to hear the story from the other side (the shores of Africa). Slave trade and black history lessons in the west don’t always depict the horrors, crimes and inhumanity that truly happened. White education institution governors need to visit these places to hear the horrors themselves and change the curriculum in schools. It’s life changing and i’m sure KH now has a diff view when black Africans fight for certain rights in the west. Good job KH for visiting and taking the initiate to learn about this barbaric yet very important history 👏. Every African parent in the west must take their entire family to visit esp. the younger generation. I did that last summer and my kids truly understand the slave trade and another perspective of black history month.
Also teach about us when we where Kings and Queen, not just teaching us slavery
