- My initial thoughts on some new lights:
Noctigon DM11 with W1
Emisar D4SV2 2-channel with W1's/LH351Ds' and 26800
Noctigon KR4 2-channel with W1's/219Bs'
Noctigon K1 with SBT90.2

Here because you helped me pick out a light on reddit. I got a d4v2 with XLP hi and a KR4 with nichia 219b. Honestly couldn't be happier
I absolutely love that texturing on the DM11.

I ordered an d4sv2 and d4v2 with both w2 channel 1, nichia 219b 3500k / 4500k channel 2. And I love it! The floody profile of the nichia is so nice with the w2 in the d4sv2 & d4v2. Thanks for your suggestion! Didn't knew mixing in the same channel was possible.
@@Butch_Deezlsteak it's about the same as XP-L HI or sst-20. But with more candala. Alot of cargo tho it isn't a pretty beam.

You can use the Acebeam E10 body and battery...It fits and works fine...same threads as the DM11
I love the knurling ,but I will be out doors with gloves in a wet swampy area counting owls right tool for the right job ,clean presenting nice

just got my d4sv2 w1+ lh351d 5700k and using the lsp evo app mine show up around 5000k or a little lower. not sure how to verify if they are the right ones.
I got my dual channel D4v2 with the same emitters as your D4Sv2 back in Dec2021. I just got my Opple LM last week so decided to check all of my lights, and lo and behold, the LH351D 5700K in my D4v2 is measuring between 5100K and 5300K 😕

They changed the aggressive knurling. Way better now!!
I'd be curious to know how the K1 would compare to a JKK90 SBT90.2. I'm sure you don't have one, but I'm curious nonetheless.

What's the name of the label maker you're using on your batteries? My past experience with label makers the Ink fades off after like a year.
I use a Dymo Label Manager 160. It's nothing special, just the cheapest one I could find on Amazon. I haven't had any issues with fading, but all my labels are kept indoors and out of sunlight.

For people looking at the DM11 now, Hank changed the knurling to the normal knurling like on the d4sv2 and d4v2.
If you have flashlights with those awful c-clip attachment, especially expensive lights, there is a useful solution. Attach the clip then put a ranger band (or any WIDE durable rubberband) around the flashlight but UNDER the clip, yet over the C-clip part. Alternately, if you dont want the rubber, paracord, or even just paracord sheathe and do several wraps. Works like a charm and on deep-carry clips, it can all be above the c-clip and isnt disruptive at all. I prefer my ranger bands because they are just useful for several different things, if the need arises.
FFS, I had just about made up my mind on a DM11 w/ SFT40 and a Wurkkos TS30S, but now I'm leaning towards a K1 w/ SBT90.2 again. Have you tried the larger 26800 tube yet on the K1?
Hank does not make a 26800 tube for K1. I believe a Mateminco MT90 Mini 26800 tube and a copper spacer will work but I haven't tried that myself.
@@tacticalgrizzly9828 Sorry 'bout that. I've been in decision hell for the past week and change, I've lost track of which ones do and don't have 26800 tubes by now. Afaik the DM11 can use the DM1.12 26800 tube though. I did find the MT90 Mini / MF03s tube on the K1 thread on reddit as well just now. The tube can be found for a few bucks on the Mateminco AliEx store, but no sign of a tail cap.
How do you get two-channel versions? - I don't see options listed on Hank's website. Do you just email him and request a customer order?
The two channel versions have a separate section on the website labeled "tint ramping and instant channel switching led flashlights" and located on the left side of the page.

how did you choose the W1 Osrams? the website won't let me. it just has W2s :( Actually, how did you choose 2 different emitters?? it only lets you pick one type. I'm so lost.. lol
There are entirely separate listings for the single-channel and dual-channel versions of the lights. It sounds like you may be viewing the single-channel version, which only allows you to select one type of LED and does not support Osram W1's. I ordered the d4sv2 but didn’t get 2 options for flood and throw just had one option for LED & TINT it said I went with LH351D 5500k 90 CRI once I clicked that,that was it no other options for other channel?
The single-channel version and dual-channel version are on different pages. It's not one listing.
Did Hank ever get back to you on the incorrect LED tint that was on your light?
He did. There was a big hullabaloo about it on budget light forum, and we determined that he did send the right LED's and that D4SV2's optic actually lowers the color temperature a bit, particularly with LH351D's.

I noticed that the LH351Ds in 5700K are no longer available on the webstore and have been replaced with 5500K.

Yep. He told me his were wrong, so I checked mine and realized they are wrong too.

Hey, just stumbled across this video. Got the same light yesterday (except I got a gray host with red switch) and love it.
How can I tell if I got the lh351d-5700 or the 5000? I ordered the 5700 too.
The DM11 should have gotten a KR1/KR4 style battery tube. I dont know that he thought when designing that knurling.
I think he should have just used K1's thread pattern. Then we could use this tube or the much more reasonable K1 tube. They're so close that my K1 tube threads halfway into DM11 successfully.
I dont know why everyone hates the aggressive knurling so much I find it amazing in terms of providing good grip, however the clip is definitely trash
