Rare BMW E30 M3 Convertible Deep Clean - Dry Ice Cleaning, Wash, & MUCH MORE

- One of the rarest BMW E30 M3 you will find is the convertible. This example was imported from the UK and brought to us for a full restoration detailing package - everything from dry ice cleaning to wash, paint correction and interior parts restoration. We fixed some rust, replaced the entire front brake package, and had some body work done. This car spent over 3 months at our shop completing various restorative processes to get it looking like new.
All in all we're left with a classic E30 M3 in white, flossing gold BBS wheels from Supreme Power, a wood grain BBS steering wheel, and a drop top to stunt on them with.
The real question is: what do you think of the gold wheels?

So I’m saying you didn’t replace the rear back panel & filled it with bondo🤔🙄
Going by what we see here on the video as nothing to say otherwise.
These normally rot out on the screen scuttle panel (I had a sport evo in brilliant red) & that had to be replaced.
The rear boot badge comes with the correct spacing when buying new so no need to mark out on tape just measure up from the bottom of the boot before removed👌
OMG😳…. That steering wheel!… put an original M-Tech 2 back on or the sport evo which comes in alcantara👌
What wepon put the rear plate on the front @ 23.24🙄
The finish at the end shows no M3 badge but shows it been fitted earlier 🤔
Bin those pimp rims….nasty!!… either 8x16 Alpina’s which I had on my sport evo or the genuine 16” alloys.👍
Came out good tho, nice touch.
Good eye - we got the final shots of the car taken before we put on the badge - sometimes it's a quick turn around when the owner is hyped to get their car, and we have to make sure we get final shots!
That steering wheel is a rare find, fitted from Boden Autohaus before it came to us.

How much is the cost for this cleaning??
How does the price guide work, regarding dry ice undercarriage cleaning? Do cars that have that cosmoline undercoat, get priced in i higher bracket, than say, a domestic car like a corvette or something that has no cosmoline? Suv is higher price, than a mid size sedan?
Everything is handled on an hourly basis - all price guides are simply estimates, and we form a more complete estimate for each customer once we have had a chance to really see the car and see how much work that needs to be done. All depends on the condition of the car and the owners expectations
While dry ice looks to be the be all end all method of restoring back to new, I can’t help but think the layer of dirt/buildup acts as a good layer of protection.
What kind of glue you used to stick again M3 badge on trunk ?

Probaly 3m double sided vhb tape.

Honestly, I would prefer the 325i 4 door, it has better aerodynamics. plus less expensive and easier to maintain.

Your work is impeccable as always. But I do not like that poor car - all the work that went into make the body more rigid and the handling better is ruined by some attention seeking hairdresser with low self esteem cutting the roof off.
I very much doubt that a hairdresser has the budget for this level of restoration
or the budget for a rare m3 cabrio in the first place lol
i dont like how its was repainted not by you guys....before you the car was repainted at low quality level
we do our best at helping source the best vendors when performing super specialty work, like body work, paint, full body ppf, etc. With the quality that comes with vendors we trust, comes the price, and not everyone is ready or willing to pay that price for vendors, and they go to find their own. Sometimes, like that mercedes AMG from a few months back, we have the owner come back and pray we can fix what the other vendors had done. Sometimes it works out. Luckily, when we're the last ones to the touch the car, odds are good itll come out damn near perfect ;)
