    Great video! Very informative and clear. I have to mention, if you are non native, you must to have C1 Eenglish level certificate (IELTS, CAMBRIDGE, V-step,). Furthermore sometimes your TEFL/TESOL may not be authenticated, if it was taken online(can't fully confirm, but mine got rejected for authentification twice, from different agents).

    • @CavernSaga
      @CavernSaga  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad you asked! This can be done through a reliable agent or in person. The gathered documents such as passport and application forms should be submitted to the Department of Justice (e.g Hanoi, Saigon, etc.) More detailed info can be found in this link with an option to apply it online too: www.vietnam-visa.com/police-clearance-certificate-for-foreigners-in-vietnam/

      Hey Andy! From what I’ve experienced so far, while hearing and witnessing other cases about this, they don’t really ask for the transcript of records.

    Hi! Great video! What kind of school school is this? (public, private, international?) It looks like you teach multiple different classes of students; how many different classes do you teach? I currently teach in South Korea at a private academy and I only have one classroom I manage all day, so I was curious how that would be different and if you still feel close to your students?

    • @CavernSaga
      @CavernSaga  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s a combination of public, private school and an English center. Schedules are set every week, each classes have their own class teacher and we just teach English. It can get too robotic as we’ll need to teach the same thing 3 or 5 times in one week

    Do you know the company VN Connect? I think it's a dispatch company for Foreign teachers.
    Is this company legit?

    • @CavernSaga
      @CavernSaga  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Michelle
      Yes, I’m familiar with them. It’s a recruiting agency and they’ll need you to fill up some details so they can match you to a potential employer. The rates they offer aren’t that good because they will get a cut 💸

    How long is a class on average and how do you make your lesson plans - do you create all of that yourself or are there prepared resources for you to use?

    • @CavernSaga
      @CavernSaga  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Classes are shorter at kindergartens (25mins to 40mins). At schools, it can range from 40mins to 1.25 hours. While class centers are longer (45mins to 2 hours).
      Curriculums are planned by the school/center coordinators. And depending on the employer, a full lesson plan are usually given (flashcards, worksheets, powerpoint slide) in order for teachers to follow it. If not, you’ll be given the freedom to plan for every lesson (most of the time unpaid), which can eat up a lot of time. Be sure to clarify and include what’s needed for you in the contract.
      Hope this is clear 🙂
