4K on a budget and DF Retro are two of the most entertaining series you have produced. The effort and quality that you guys put into the series is incredible. Of course, I still find game performance interesting to see what developers do to achieve certain goals but I do have to say, 4K on a budget and DF Retro are my new favourite series to watch on TH-cam. Keep up the great work guys.
That 4xMSAA is eating all the already not-so-sufficient VRAM, turn it off (especially when there's already FXAA in use), and you will get hell of a performance boost.
But you don't have to use whole Dynamic preset, you can set it to Custom and set every individual option to Dynamic, EXCEPT MSAA, which you can turn completely off.
VRAM consumption on a racing game is (or should be) very small, there is a really limited FOV and rules for the player to move inside the game. You can stream content assets almost perfectly which is why Forza uses hardly any VRAM at 4K, and why GTA5 streams like aids and stutters on even stupidly powerful computers, most open world games do.
I love this series of video they do because I have a 970 (post controversy) and sub par AMD CPU, FX-8350, which has kept me at a stable 60 in 1080p on literally everything except Watch Dog's 2. So it's great to see a series about extracting life out of now legacy cards because we all know that every new Nvidia line is a 10% - 15% increase over the last line. I don't get why so many comments are about consoles. They pay that money for convenience and because they don't like playing with these settings, that's perfectly okay.
Tre4 I didn't mean 2 year old games, I meant games that are coming out now, the Xbox one X can run native 4k solid 60 fps for 499$, so it must be possible to build a PC for the same money, that can do the same with the same games
Xbox One X will not run 60fps nor native 4k. They will use checkerboarding and other techniques. MS confirmed that not all games will run native 4k. In addition almost all games will be 30fps. The only games so far confirmed to be 60 is Forza 7 which is the same as Forza 6 and Call of Duty. Any open world CPU intensive game is 100 percent a no no for 60 4k. Don't fool yourself on believing that $500 console will outperform all 1k pcs. There will but a lot of cut corners, similar to the PS4 pro. Remember Xbox One x is only 1.80 more teraflops than the pro, and its CPU is still the same ancient jaguar from 2013.
Read my comment above. I clearly said Forza 7 is one of few confirmed titles to be native 4k 60fps because it is optimized exclusively for the console. In addition it is not far from Forza 6 which was also a closed circuit racer that RX480s are able to reach 60fps 4k on ultra as well. The reason is because Forza engine uses tons of variation to constantly maintain FPS, and it's very low on CPU usage. This exactly the reason why MS already confirmed that Forza Horizon 3 will be 30fps on X. Because unlike the original Forza it's open world and is very heavy on CPU.
You wont be hitting 60fps ultra settings that's for damn sure but you should do high settings just fine. 4k 60fps ultra is where you'll need a 1080 Ti.
I love this series. many people use their of connected to a 4k TV, it shows that you don't need to upgrade your entire rig to get ultra HD gaming. Nice Richard !
There are quite a few comments on the internet that took the preview to the 1X in Forza, with your line saying it took a 1080 to match it, and spread it far and wide, insisting the 1x would be the same as a 1080, or at least a 1070. But as we see here, the gtx 970 can play at 4k60, the difference being that the 1X has higher quality settings. It would take a card just a little more powerful to match it. Something like a 580 (another 6TF polaris card). The tough thing for the 1X if you are comparing it to PC long term is that maybe 6 months after it launches Volta will come out. An 1170 will have the power of the 1080 ti for $300-$400, about double the 1X and an 1160 will easily beat it for $200-$250. That being said $500 is a good deal for a system with this much power, that comes bundled with a controller, 12gb of ram, a hard drive and a fricken 4k blue ray player. As far as console hardware goes, its can't be beat
My 970 did a decent job with forza, swapped it for a 980ti and it murders it. Sold my 970 for £120 and bought a used 980 for £250, well worth the difference.
dynamic resolution scaling is such a great feature, for those who want to maintain that 60fps glad microsoft implemented it into there games on windows 10, other devs should have it aswell as an option :)
Recently got a 4K monitor and am surprised by how over-stated the requirements are for 4K. Yes, the latest AAA titles running the most demanding game engines of course require top-of-the-line GPUs, but for slightly older titles which are well-optimised it's perfectly achievable with mid-range PCs. I tried DiRT Rally at 4K Ultra on GTX 1060 6GB and got 57 FPS average on the benchmark, yet only 92 FPS at 1080p Ultra.
I run an FX9590 overclocked to 5Ghz and a gigabyte gtx970, and there were two factors that made me decide on a 30fps cap for most games. The first was that often I didn't want to sacrifice view distance or pop in settings for the 60fps cap, which was a result of my CPU limiting things as most games aren't well optimized for multi cores. Secondly I discovered super-sampling. I would much rather run a game at completely maxed settings, as well as enabling super-sampling at 30fps than sacrificing many things to get 60fps.
does any one knows or understand what he meant when he said "dialing back pre-rendering frames will decrease your input lag significantly" @3:24????????
Using a freesync or gsync monitor is a god send. If anyone reading this hasn't made the jump yet i highly recommend it. PC is always the best way to enjoy those high frame rates.
Friend of mine has an almost identical rig which I built for him, expect the i5 is the i5 7500, and he's got 16gb of 3000mhz ddr4. Its more designed for 1080p144hz gameplay and upgradablility. He'll probably slot in the latest i7 when the last compatible one comes out and get the a volta card like an 1170.
You could try doing the Dead Rising series. DR1 would easily reach 4k60 with a 970, sure, but it would be interesting to see the other three games, especially considering you guys haven't looked at DR4 on PC.
1500mhz is the average for this GPU, my release day GTX970 can do 1519mhz without voltage increase but anything above 1500mhz is just diminishing returns not worth the extra voltage and power usage.
My 1070 hits about 1500 on average and the mem is SHIT, it sucks because it cant overclock for shit some said its a bios issue on the card but I dont know how to install/update a bios on a card
i have a 1060 and want to get more frames, what's the first thing i should increase?MHz?vram(if you can)?i don't really understand these things that much
I'd love to see the three lastest DICE frostbite games in the next episode (Battlefield 1, Star Wars Battlefront, Mirror's Edge Catalyst) or maybe the modern battlefield games (bf3, bf4, bf1). Feel free to skip hardline
What would be nice in such videos as these, is the hardware statistics. Like have a capture of the GPU-Z tab in the bottom so we can see the utilization of the card.
Still at between 450 and 600 bucks. What is the definition of budget. Pair that with at least a 200 CPU. Your 800 deep before any other parts and programs in the pc build. All to run one game at 4K at 60 fps. I'm not sure I can jump on board with that being budget PC gaming
I play both of those games on an i7 @ 3,4 GHz + Geforce 1070, and both of them run in 60 FPS. However, Forza Horizon needs some tweaks, or else it will drop to 50 - 55 fps in busy environments. I hope Forza 7 will run at 60 FPS on my machine.
These microstutters accour due to the slow 512mb vram on the gtx 970, i've tested it out myself. with ultra texture quality at 60fps on 1080p i can notice some frame drops here and there. this is when the game unloads textures and loads new.
Here is a tip if you start PC gaming: NEVER tell people what computer you have! It can be brutal, as you buy what you can afford, and people make fun of you because you could have spent $100 more to get better, why you didn't wait for some chip you never heard of, your computer will be trash in 3 years, you should not have bought a pre-made computer, etc. It can be brutal if you're not fluent in computer terminology. As long as you don't tell them what you have, and just play and enjoy the games with them, you will be happy.
This "lowly gtx 970" costs as much as a ps4 PRO right now, which has the same performance. You miss much of the flexibility from PC, but get a full platform ready to game for the price of only a gpu. I'd say that if you already have a good laptop which isn't very good for gaming (less than 1 tflops gpu), the best deal TODAY is a ps4 PRO or an Xbox one X.
Now you can get a gtx 970 at 80 bucks, lol xD trhow that in an optiplex case with an 4th gen i7/i5 and 8gb ram and you got a 250-300$ bucks 4k pc better than current consoles.
so what's the budget? CPU, GPU, controller, ram, cooling, os, PSU, mother board, keyboard, mouse, case etc? then how does that compare to a Xbox one X for example?
Rather buy a 1080 ti if i want the best quality. Is just too much work to tweak around 100 things so get the best out of an older graphic card, probably thats why im a console gamer.
please review the 4k LG 27UD68 4k IPS monitor. would make a good budget video with an RX 580. awesome timing on this video, im considering doing a budget 4k build this year so I can play Forza 7 with my Xbox mate who is getting a One X.
Ryan Tongs not too bad can't really notice I delay its at 5 milliseconds but I really can't tell great response time when I first received the monitor the picture wasn't vibrant enough for me nothing a few minutes in settings cant fix for the longest time I couldn't figure out why my monitor was stuck at 30 Hertz I finally figured it out and enabled HDMI Ultra HD deep color once I enable that I was able to get my 60 hertz at 4K kind of weird it wasn't on that by default. I can get a few games at native at 4K at 60 I had to make a custom resolution that I found by digital Foundry yesterday 3200x2000 and now I get 60+fps now
I understand technical progres, but why they trying to force me to buy 4K? It's like mantra. BUY 4K, BUY 4k, BUY 4k! I will buy when it become real cheap. Gaming is only one small part of my life.
Becuase they want money, and Tvs arent something you buy regularly. See forced obsolescence. Once your average peep buys a tv or monitor, they keep it for a long long time. That means no money for the company after the purchase. You will notice how long it took to go from sd to HD, but how quickly they tried to force 3d and 4k down our thoats. They want $$$
What means Supersampling for Sniper Elite V2? Old game yes, but should i get my 144FPS locked even with supersampling ON? I have 980Ti playing in 1440p
Honestly no idea how you got those Horizon 3 results. Same GPU, same clock, same settings, but maxed out 100% GPU usage and lucky to hit 26-27fps in an open field with no cars and not moving.
Haha no they aren't. Some of them got patched a few times because of shit performance and Quantum still runs terrible now on capable hardware. Take a look at the Quantum Break steam forum. UWP started off badly because of the frame rate caps, no support for G-Sync and FreeSync, SLi and hate of the Windows store in general. MS has changed some of it now but the damage has been done. UWP's reputation is down the crapper.
zarif Not exactly though. I had mine running on a 1060 at 200% scaling (4K res basically) and it runs at 30-45fps. Unless you change the settings back to medium-high, it's impossible teach Ultra and 60fps at 4K. And heck, I'm using an overclocked MSI gaming X edition, the fastest 1060 around.
I'm talking more about specific settings. I'm hearing that using 1080p and 4k resolution is straight forward, but if you want to use something in the middle like 1440p then it can get a little awkward. The reason I'm asking is because I have a GTX 1060 so 4k for most games isn't possible (especially at 60fps) but 1440p will be.
Yeah that was one of the things I read about, 1440 looking worse than 1080 if you don't use it right. Also 1440 only running at 30fps was another thing.
You know considering the price to size ratio for most 4k monitors I've been thinking of doing that. Does anyone know of a reasonably priced TV that has low input lag?
Well I've got a Samsung KS7500 coming in a few days (that's why I posted this question in the first place) which has cost me £720. It's dropped in price alot since it came out last year and is still considered a very good all round TV. It get's about 22ms of lag while in gaming mode with HDR on which is quite impressive.
I would like to suggest -prey -resident evil 7 - witcher 3 - dark souls 3 - the surge - dishonoured 1 and 2 would be great if you can do this as I am now looking for a 4k tv but not enough money for a new gpu and I have the same card you have. Love these videos keep it up !!!!
You can't really be buying into that 4K texture PR? Are you Digital Foundry? Be sure to show us those texture differences in your comparison videos. Also high time to add those Bitmap comparison photos for all Face-offs to your Patreon.
4k on a 980Ti @1500Mhz is totally dooable. You should bench a bunch of GPUs to target 4K 60fps and tweak settings for each, like a reverse benchmark. More mainstream cards can run quite a lot of games with settings dialed off Ultra, which are usually the poorest value performance wise.
To be fair to AK, it is imho the best looking game on PC, I haven't seen better anyway (I can't be the only one that finds the sterile graphics of simulations like Forza to be a borefest). I'm also amazed AK was slated so much, I loved the Batmobile/tank and it stands for me as the strongest game in an excellent trilogy. Origins was crap though, I agree with people on that one. I totally agree about having to grapple with the settings being fun, the PC is obviously a complicated beast compared to the mind-numbingly simple consoles and I love it that way. Unless it's someone else asking me for help with their PC then I hate it :p That's like doing their personal hygiene for them!
Question by a tech noob: Does the vsync half options in the nvidia control panel increase the input lag? Even playing with a controller, it gives me a terrrible input lag! Is there a way to fix this (I already set the max prerendered images to 1) or is it just normal? Does consoles also have this issue?
Each game uses RAM as video RAM when the V-Ram is full .... so it should. My experience with my old 760 (2GB) was when the V-ram is full the ram consumption goes up.
Keep doing this Richard! But also explain us how to cap properly fps on PC on 30fps. When i cap it using adaptive v-sync i get tearing whole the time cause my fps jumps between 29-30fps, even with low demanding games and with gtx 1070 on 4k. If i use regular vsync then i get bad framepacing...
Hey can you do rise of the tomb raider. Getting 4K 30fps but cut scenes drop pretty bad. Working with a OC GTX 1060 and an i7 4770 with 16gb ram. And just cause 3!
4K on a budget and DF Retro are two of the most entertaining series you have produced. The effort and quality that you guys put into the series is incredible. I miss this series
That 4xMSAA is eating all the already not-so-sufficient VRAM, turn it off (especially when there's already FXAA in use), and you will get hell of a performance boost.
you cant turn it off if you use dynamic opt. MSAA runs automatically at medium or higher with Forza Tech
But you don't have to use whole Dynamic preset, you can set it to Custom and set every individual option to Dynamic, EXCEPT MSAA, which you can turn completely off.
duly noted
VRAM consumption on a racing game is (or should be) very small, there is a really limited FOV and rules for the player to move inside the game. You can stream content assets almost perfectly which is why Forza uses hardly any VRAM at 4K, and why GTA5 streams like aids and stutters on even stupidly powerful computers, most open world games do.
zywypl msaa do not consune vram lol.

you should make another series called native 4K 60fps on a budget
Tre4 I didn't mean 2 year old games, I meant games that are coming out now, the Xbox one X can run native 4k solid 60 fps for 499$, so it must be possible to build a PC for the same money, that can do the same with the same games

Admiral Ackbar so you don't believe what digital Foundry said on the analysing of the footage, they said it's native 4K solid 60fps

doesn't matter if it one game or it's 200 games, it's confirmed that the system can run native 4K solid 60fps on a new AAA game
Love this series! Makes 4k gaming seem achievable on a moderate budget. Can't wait to try out some games at 4k and even 1800p when my 1070 arrives.
I play all my games at nativ 4k with my 1070. Turn the settings von Ultra to Very High or High helps very much. :P
Love these vieeos, keep them coming!
I rate this video 3.5/4
Devin Money lmao xD
nice meme
Devin Money Nice
Original, never seen this comment before
3.5/4 ON ORIGINALITY i own a 970 and well now that 3.5/4 situation does absolutely nothing to perfomance
The dynamic optimization feature in Gears of War 4 also works just as well.
jonnyX06 gears is easier to run. The only thing that kills fps is the screen space reflections
There are quite a few comments on the internet that took the preview to the 1X in Forza, with your line saying it took a 1080 to match it, and spread it far and wide, insisting the 1x would be the same as a 1080, or at least a 1070. The GTX 970 is one of the best GPU's Nvidia has ever made.
The real pizza boy i rate it 3.5/4 though
I rate it 3.5/4, everything else seem to be ok ^^
The real pizza boy agreed, also 980ti great as well. But I love my 1080ti
The biggest scam they ever produced.
Maxwell in general was very impressive for it's time. even after 4 years AMD can't beat Maxwell's power consumption efficiency.
My 970 did a decent job with forza, swapped it for a 980ti and it murders it. Sold my 970 for £120 and bought a used 980 for £250, well worth the difference.
if you have to build 4k on a budget you probably don't have a 4k monitor

"complex tracks like Brands Hatch and the Nürburgring" *shows Spa*

does any one knows or understand what he meant when he said "dialing back pre-rendering frames will decrease your input lag significantly" @3:24????????
there is an option on the menu to do it )
Okay, GTX 970.
CPU?
RAM?
RasselTX I believe he outlined his build in the first video of the series. IIRC it's an i7 6700k and 16 GB of RAM.
Ghost Recon Wildlands, please. Haven't did nothing with that game since the beta. But great show.
love this series!
Using a freesync or gsync monitor is a god send. If anyone reading this hasn't made the jump yet i highly recommend it. PC is always the best way to enjoy those high frame rates.
Very well optimised games. Good work Turn 10. They run really light. Wich also explains the native 4k/60 for FM7 on the x1x.

Marc Moore I can't get mine above 1.5 GHz without getting artifacts... My card has a low asic quality :C
1500mhz is the average for this GPU, my release day GTX970 can do 1519mhz without voltage increase but anything above 1500mhz is just diminishing returns not worth the extra voltage and power usage.

i have a 1060 and want to get more frames, what's the first thing i should increase?MHz?vram(if you can)?i don't really understand these things that much
Hay Hay A 1070 should hit more. Pascal cards can go to about 1950-2050 Mhz.
Recently Overclocked my MSI 970 to:
GPU Clock 1501MHz
Mem Clock: 4001MHz
I could go a little higher on both but these speeds hit my needs.
I'd love to see the three lastest DICE frostbite games in the next episode (Battlefield 1, Star Wars Battlefront, Mirror's Edge Catalyst) or maybe the modern battlefield games (bf3, bf4, bf1). Feel free to skip hardline

Would be nice to see a true 4K on a budget video. What is the lowest video card that will play all major games at 4K at lowest settings 60fps?
this is why developers love working with Xbox. the hardware is a piece of cake and the API under Direct X is sweet for conversions.
I run 1800p with medium dynamic setting at 60fps, close to locked. GTX 970 1557Mhz core, 3850Mhz memory.
Richard needs his own PewDiePie-esque introduction.
I think we can all agree that Horizon 3 is like if *Codemasters* made *Test Drive Unlimited 3.*
It kinda makes sense...
So they recently updated Forza Horizon 3 and reduced CPU overhead? My potato builds will be happy to hear that. This game used to be a CPU hog!
Did all of you guys go to the same hand gesture school?
These microstutters accour due to the slow 512mb vram on the gtx 970, i've tested it out myself. with ultra texture quality at 60fps on 1080p i can notice some frame drops here and there. this is when the game unloads textures and loads new.

Future test !! Gtx 970 vs xbox one X in 1080p 60fps forza horizon 3 ? Possible ???
elisons can the gtx 970 play on maximum settings without hitting the vram limit? I'm running a r9 390 and my vram usage on forza is 4-5gb
next game i want to see is crysis 3,the witcher 3 wild hunt, rise of the tomb raider, dark souls 3 and middle earth shadow of mordor
so what's the budget?
Ryan Tongs it's a great 4k 60hz monitor I have one and a gtx 1070
STUFF how's the response times, i.e. blurring, specifically in dark scenes? and how's input lag? :D
I can get a few games at native at 4K at 60 I had to make a custom resolution that I found by digital Foundry yesterday 3200x2000 and now I get 60+fps now
STUFF sweet thanks man
The Division snow drop engine? Wouldn't mind seeing that tested.
60fps should be the new "GAMING" minimum-spec on every video games is what I think :-)
970s are still kinda expensive though?
thats because nvidia stopped producing them. get a 1060 6GB for better price and performance
but before the 1000-series it was the best choice tho
why do i need Anti-Aliasing with such pixel density with the 4K Res.?
true, I would disable AA, huge performance boost too.
Gtx970 is basically the mainstream card of pc gaming? Strange. I thought all pc users ran Titans in sli at 8k ultra and 144hz...

I have a suggestion, perhaps you could do the GTA series or even The Witcher series too.
I don't understand this push to 4K.
CesarzBarakus me neither... I'd rather use lower resolutions like 1440p/1620p/1800p and achieve those sweet +60fps
I'm more than happy with 1080p60, maybe ignorance is bliss.
Makers realized that 4k displays could be made cheaply, and now are trying to push it on everyone.
The Xbox One X running Forza 6 at 4k60 seems a little less impressive now, huh?
Hey DigitalFoundry can you try these same tests but with the R9 390. It will be interesting.
Honestly no idea how you got those Horizon 3 results. Same GPU, same clock, same settings, but maxed out 100% GPU usage and lucky to hit 26-27fps in an open field with no cars and not moving.
Are you aware that if you have "Frame Smoothing" option turned ON, the game slows down time to be able to hit the preferred framerate target?
This game is beautiful on PC.
I have a palit gtx 980 what kind of overclock do u think I could get away with?
Dead space series on my GTX 1080 is happy beyond 6K DSR even 8k is possible well above 60fps how does the GTX 970 fair with this classic series?
Is arkham poorly optimised on pc? Cause it runs pretty damn smooth on my pc
Frisson It got fixed last year
yeah i know, thats when i bought it on sale on steam, it ran fine. on my 980ti. now on 1080ti it runs maxed out at 4k over 100fps
It got fixed after just few months from its release
And I hope people stop claiming that poorly optimized, because that not true at all.
The awkward moment when you are watching at 240p
holy shit 4k video in 1080p screen
970 doing 4k with a decent fps is impressive to say the least
Remember how everyone complained about UWP games?? Yet UWP games (Forza/Gears/Quantum) are the best optimized PC games out there right now.
At the end of all this, Microsoft's Racing Game division is just amazing. FM6 and FH3 are just well developed games.
"this lowly card" right on the feelings
i have a i5 7600k OC to 4.5ghz with 16gb 3000mhz and a gtx 970, gonna try this out
Can you test please Overwatch in 4k on a gtx 970
maximilian lauberger Sucks that the game can't be run at 4K on 1080p monitors without bugging out. Would have been a great AA option.
I use DSR for overwatch just fine I get 90+fps with full AA at 3K with scaling at 200% on a 1070
boi my 1060 can hog that game on maxed settings wityh 60 fps, maybe drop a few settings and it'll run overwatch really easily
zarif Not exactly though.
I paid over 400$ for geforce 970 in my country and digitalfoundry calls it a budget gpu :) very nice.
:O thats really expensive. In my country a used 970 cost around 200 €.
Im currently having GTX970 , in my daily use i doesnt have any problems
I rated my Gtx970 as 4.5/5
I wanna know the specs on PC apart from the 970 being used
Can you guys do a video about using a 4k TV as a PC monitor?
TriksterHD just use an hdmi cable..
I would like to suggest
-prey
-resident evil 7
- witcher 3
- dark souls 3
- the surge
- dishonoured 1 and 2
would be great if you can do this as I am now looking for a 4k tv
but not enough money for a new gpu and I have the same card you have. Love these videos keep it up !!!!
You can't really be buying into that 4K texture PR? Are you Digital Foundry? Be sure to show us those texture differences in your comparison videos. Also high time to add those Bitmap comparison photos for all Face-offs to your Patreon.
Forza Horizon 3 is so beautiful, if they just made the colors a little neutral it would be photo realistic
strange. horizon gets me barely 60 at 720p with studdering. might try the dynamic optimisation thing through.
4k on a 980Ti @1500Mhz is totally dooable. You should bench a bunch of GPUs to target 4K 60fps and tweak settings for each, like a reverse benchmark. More mainstream cards can run quite a lot of games with settings dialed off Ultra, which are usually the poorest value performance wise.
can you use the 970 with a 4k hdr10 monitor?
To be fair to AK, it is imho the best looking game on PC, I haven't seen better anyway (I can't be the only one that finds the sterile graphics of simulations like Forza to be a borefest).
I'm also amazed AK was slated so much, I loved the Batmobile/tank and it stands for me as the strongest game in an excellent trilogy. Origins was crap though, I agree with people on that one.
I totally agree about having to grapple with the settings being fun, the PC is obviously a complicated beast compared to the mind-numbingly simple consoles and I love it that way. Unless it's someone else asking me for help with their PC then I hate it :p That's like doing their personal hygiene for them!
do analysis on new Intel generation CPUs core i9 and compare to ryzen 1800 thank u
So does this mean that a 970 can do 60fps on ultra at 1080p?
why is the rear view mirrors still running at 30fps
I wish forza horizon 3 was optimized as well as apex :(
Question by a tech noob:
Does the vsync half options in the nvidia control panel increase the input lag? Even playing with a controller, it gives me a terrrible input lag! Is there a way to fix this (I already set the max prerendered images to 1) or is it just normal? Does consoles also have this issue?
Didn't FH3 use a part of the ram as video ram?
(atleast thats what i kept reading.. but then again, its the internet)
Each game uses RAM as video RAM when the V-Ram is full .... so it should. My experience with my old 760 (2GB) was when the V-ram is full the ram consumption goes up.
I meant exclusively, something about the X1's weird architecture
I got Inno3D gtx 970 for 130$ used and it rocksm I can easily play newest games at ultra in 4k at30 or 60fps
The game runs well enough, I just wish it would do that in the capture...
Im running it at 4k 60fps with gtx 1070 and fx 8350.
Best solution is with Rivatuner Statistic Server (comes with MSI Afterburner).
I using a Rivaturner for years now and it still introduces framepacing issues...
Hey can you do rise of the tomb raider. Getting 4K 30fps but cut scenes drop pretty bad. Working with a OC GTX 1060 and an i7 4770 with 16gb ram. And just cause 3!
