I dont see enough people talk about FH3 . Its my favorite Horizon game, even though i know FH1 is the fan favorite. But just the sky box, the DLCs, the car sounds, and it was the first time i was able to pay for a game and my first time having an online Horizon experience.
Fh1 is a fan favorite BECAUSE it actually has a story, and that festival vibe, something that has progressively gotten worse throughout the franchise. Still though, fh1, fh2, fh3 are really great racing games. Fh4 isnt bad but lacking, fh5 took photorealism too literally and now everything just doesn't "feel" like a game.
Absolutely loved the wheelspins in FH3 compared to 4 & 5 because they don’t include those stupid clothing gifts!!! I want cars and credits not silly hats and shirts thats rarely gonna be noticed.
Fh3 is where I started in the forza series. Could play it non stop have over 1000 hours. It was a big step up for the roleplay and meet up community especially with the small towns and parking lots. Roleplay is just dead in fh4 and fh5. Just not enough small little towns. Very few parking lots and the parking lot we got in fh5 gets covered up by a stupid festival. The club feature was also great in 3 and adding people to your driver line up was great.
Yep. I always thought there was too few parking lots in Forza games. But at least FH3 did a decent job with it. But You should’ve played Test Drive Unlimited. That game took role play to a whole new level. With diners where car clubs could meet, hundreds of parking lots, actual houses and characters. Satisfaction of buying a new car, indicators, electric windows etc etc etc cannot wait for TDU 3 You could even invite other players to ride shotgun with you while you drove. And vice versa

Fh5 is more realistic, Some cars sound great but most just sound like fart cannons, and after 30mins it gets annoying. Plus it's been proven that most "new" car sounds in fh5 are actually just copy and pasted from previous games@@Generationalwealth94
This just made me realize just how "dead" FH5 feels in terms of an actual lived-in location. There are probably 1000 "Cafe Jaguar"s in Mexico but not a single person around outside of the festival sites or some fenced off spectator areas, like Playa Azul and Guanajuato.
true, thats the bad thing of the mexico :(. However there is some other stuff, like the volcano, multiple horizon bases, its different, more people could have been there, but its not the end of the world ;)
The reason why they removed the liberty walk kit from the 458 Italia is because Ferrari does not want any modifications on their cars and that's why they asked Forza to remove it. For example, Justin Bieber will never be allowed to buy another Ferrari, since he bought a 458 and fully modified it.
It's kinda amazing how the bodykit somehow slipped into a Ferrari. I thought Ferrari changed their mind about it, but apparently not and it's even worse now.
2:00 This car park is the most memorable place in any horizon game for me I spent countless of hours drifting with other players and learned to do tandems. The switchbacks in FH5 is good too but it's a bit too long something about this small parking area made a perfect car meet location
@@kexcz8276 The map is definitely 100x better than FH4, Near the Horizon Rush Festival there's a smaller switchback road that connects to the Chihuahua circuit only if it wouldn't be a dirt road...

In offroad, I think I could say I excel, when I look on my statistics across drift zones, but I think its each persons choice. Also I quite dont get now if you mean that FH3 map is better than FH4 or FH5 being better than FH4, I just know that I am passionate about FH4 so I cant really have neutral opinion on that, and also, I like for example in FH5 the volcano, that its split- half road, hlaf dirt, perfect for everybody :) .
Here's one more thing that H3 did better: the AE86 and the Celica ST205 are always available, unlike the later 2 games. And, the Lexus ISF is also one of the missing cars.
I actually like the fact that some cars are rare - It makes them seem more legendary in a way. But yeah, gutted that the ISF isn't in Horizon 5. I'm pretty sure we'd see it through the festival playlist though

True. I didnt play FH3, but like, I searched for the songs and some of the DNB is sooo good. Even in FH4 there is great variety of songs. In FH5, I think its tooo much jungle-tropic-like. Yea, there are few great songs, but I would apreciate more DNB like in Fh3 or 4.
Ive spent so long figuring out why I liked FH3 so much better and I realized, 4 and 5 feel so lifeless. From the art style, the map, and a bunch of things i cant quite place, FH3 just felt so alive and actually had a personality. I spent so much time in the "playground" areas, they were so much fun to play around but all we have in FH5 are abandoned airstrips and temples. Its almost like a post apocalyptic Mexico
YES. FH3 Had some sort of energy to it. The cars looked real and you could actually fucking engage with online players and discuss what to do or even role play. Fh4 does not have that that so ever. It doesn’t shine in any way and neither does fh5
I love FH5 but FH3 is definitely a better game. Australia was just an amazing location and the game was genuinely fun. Something about it just captured the Horizon Festival aesthetic the best since the first Horizon game and being able to play on PC for the first time felt revolutionary
The only thing I didn't like FH3 was the lack of VW, with the closets one was the Meyers Manx. It would have been cool to cruise around in a VW Bus in FH3.

True, I must agree, FH5 has mexico, maybe even their "many biomes", but in price of 3 types of desert XD. ALthough, on the other hand, if there is enough people, they will change things. I love FH3 I play it a lot. I think that Horizon games miss wildlife to make the maps feel less dead, birds in the sky etc.Some aeroplanes and helicopters flying around would be nice too.

Fh3 is the horizon game I started playing on, and there is just one thing I want more than others that I wish were in the latest games. If you drive a car with the Aventador motor, or just an Aventador, you'll notice more popping from the exhaust than the updated sound. In horizon 3, multiple popping noises will sound when you let off the gas. Now it's just one pop. I know it's such a tiny little detail but they really did do a better job with this car in horizon 3 than what they have now
One thing I did definitely loved about the older Horizon games in general were the bucket lists. Always interesting to have the chance to try a car out and do a challenge with them across the map. FH3 was peak with even the ability to make bucket lists of your own. I really don’t know why PG has not added them back in FH4 and now FH5. Hopefully tho in an later update.
I wasn’t interested in FH3 after playing 5 for a while but when I replayed I started to realize it was kinda better than FH5 (besides car selection) and also I agree with most of your reasons including maps and recruit feature missing in 5, But i think that working barriers should be mentioned
Map is definitely better in FH3. Especially the pedestrians would be nice to have in FH5 as they are still present but not as much and often you have to look for them to even notice them. The time of day adjustment feature seems more like an oversight rather than an actual feature that was intended. Still would be nice to have. Missing car manufacturers are most likely due to licensing issues which PG cannot really be held accountable for. When it comes to specific cars being drip fed back into the game then yes that shouldn't be a thing. Car meets should be brought back. Little manufacturer info would also be cool to have but isn't necessary. Festival Upgrades would be really nice to have and in general just making the festivals the main part of the game again instead of just basically being one of the many sidethings you do once and then don't care about. Expansion DLC's is something that you can't say FH3 does better than 5 as we don't have any of them yet. Once we do they can be compared but until then we don't know if FH5's expansions might beat FH3's (a difficult task yes but not impossible, we'll see) When it comes to Wheelspins it depends. I find it quite nice that you are not able to simply buy Wheelspins altough it would be nice to have more reliable options of obtaining them as I don't want to constantly grind levels to get some wheelspins. Those are just my personal opinions on the topics discussed in this video so yeah you don't have to agree on what I've said and you are free to express your own opinion on my opinions. Please just stay respectful ^^
I still play it to this day. The map the soundtrack the cars 🤤🤤 gotta be my most favourite horizon of all time it sucks it’s unlisted now there’s some dlc cars I don’t have I really wish this is was back in it’s prime
I loved Horizon 3 so much, I beat it 100%, I agree with you on 5. When I played it, I just raced and had fun killing time, I wasn't as engaged with it, same with 4. I enjoyed it particularily in late December shortly after getting it. Playing it gave me something to do while riding out a huge snowstorm we had and wishing I was warm in Mexico.
I left FH3 alone for too long and when I went back to it they had closed the servers down and I was unable to buy the DLC's so never got to experience Hot Wheels or Blizzard Mountain. Gutted!
This will probably sound bias (because I’m Australian) but FH3 is the best (why?) because there an actual good amount of Australian cars. You got Ford/FPV Falcon XR8, GTF, F6 Ute, XB Falcon, XY Falcon, Holden/HSV/HRT/HDT HQ Sandman, HQ Monaro, VL Walkinshaw, Torana A9X, FX Ute, HRT VF Commodore, GTS VF, GEN-F GTS Maloo, VK Commodore Group A, GTSR (most def sounds biased but that’s that)
FH3 had more things to do. The vibe of the locations felt authentic, unlike FH5. FH3 Online was just super. Ruined it from FH4. The music, the sky effects, sun rays, night lighting... all epic. Car sounds were even better in FH3 in my opinion, except for a few vehicles. The game had vibe & felt more alive. FH3 is a far better game than FH5 in most aspects. Not sure why at the end of your video, you stated FH5 was better.
I prefer FH4 and FH3 more than FH5, FH5 just feels very repetitive and boring, FH4 and 3 felt like they had a lot more things to do and more interesting/immersive gameplay imo
Personally, I didn't like the roads design in FH3 map, Fh3 Australia map it's empty in my opinion, but FH3 was the last real great Horizon game and it even had the best city: surfers paradise.
Remember how the Horizon games used to take some steps forward and some steps back? I wish they still did that, instead of taking one singular step forward and then several backwards.
Hot Wheels... and oh yeah, all the features in the video. But seriously, the Hot Wheels DLC is my NUMBER ONE REASON why this is my favorite Forza Horizon game. I've spent more hours perfecting not hitting the walls at max speed than playing the campaign and I have ZERO regrets! Only issue is that the Windows Store version for PC is eternally bugged and crashes after a few minutes of gameplay no matter what I do, so it looks like I'm stuck playing it on my Xbox One S.

I bought FH4 and FH5, and I ended up giving them away because I like FH3 more. On top of everything mentioned, the cars of the era and the map are more interesting.
The performance issues on PC were the main annoying thing with horizon 3 tbh, harsh city frame drops despite being on a decent computer, it was relieving to see 4 and 5 improve on the performance.
Agreed, not to mention that the game is really hard to run even on modern configuration (i'm talking on PC not consoles). It's really hard to play it now without crashes. Even on the system i've finished it years ago it doesn't run no more.... I can't even play it nowadays....
#1 the Radio is worth listening to. FH4 started out with decent music but then they censored half of the best songs, the franchise hasn't been the same since. The upside is now (playing on PC) I get to put Taylor Swift in my custom playlist along with CVERCHES.

1:05 parking my car under the house was one of my favorite things to do in this game. It created such a factor of realism and I loved it so much.

11:55 you actually can crash into trees, that’s just a big hard tree. There’s other small and thin trees. You can always crash into them.
They also had "X Gon give it to ya" on the radio which alone makes this games music the most memorable.

One thing I did definitely loved about the older Horizon games in general were the bucket lists. Always interesting to have the chance to try a car out and do a challenge with them across the map. FH3 was peak with even the ability to make bucket lists of your own. I really don’t know why PG has not added them back in FH4 and now FH5. Hopefully tho in an later update.

Those people are wrong. FH3 was the BEST Horizon game in my opinion
I wasn’t interested in FH3 after playing 5 for a while but when I replayed I started to realize it was kinda better than FH5 (besides car selection)
and also I agree with most of your reasons including maps and recruit feature missing in 5, But i think that working barriers should be mentioned
Map is definitely better in FH3. Especially the pedestrians would be nice to have in FH5 as they are still present but not as much and often you have to look for them to even notice them.
The time of day adjustment feature seems more like an oversight rather than an actual feature that was intended. Still would be nice to have.
Missing car manufacturers are most likely due to licensing issues which PG cannot really be held accountable for. When it comes to specific cars being drip fed back into the game then yes that shouldn't be a thing.
Car meets should be brought back.
Little manufacturer info would also be cool to have but isn't necessary.
Festival Upgrades would be really nice to have and in general just making the festivals the main part of the game again instead of just basically being one of the many sidethings you do once and then don't care about.
Expansion DLC's is something that you can't say FH3 does better than 5 as we don't have any of them yet. Once we do they can be compared but until then we don't know if FH5's expansions might beat FH3's (a difficult task yes but not impossible, we'll see)
When it comes to Wheelspins it depends. I find it quite nice that you are not able to simply buy Wheelspins altough it would be nice to have more reliable options of obtaining them as I don't want to constantly grind levels to get some wheelspins.

I still play it to this day. The map the soundtrack the cars 🤤🤤 gotta be my most favourite horizon of all time it sucks it’s unlisted now there’s some dlc cars I don’t have I really wish this is was back in it’s prime
FH3 is the peak Forza Horizon.
I loved Horizon 3 so much, I beat it 100%, I agree with you on 5. When I played it, I just raced and had fun killing time, I wasn't as engaged with it, same with 4.
I enjoyed it particularily in late December shortly after getting it. Playing it gave me something to do while riding out a huge snowstorm we had and wishing I was warm in Mexico.
I still play this more than fh5 bru

THIS is why I am still playing FH3, both the fact I love in Australia but also how alive it feels.
Atmosphere in Horizon 3 is unmatched
I left FH3 alone for too long and when I went back to it they had closed the servers down and I was unable to buy the DLC's so never got to experience Hot Wheels or Blizzard Mountain. Gutted!

I rushed to get the DLCs when i heard it was going to be delisted, couldn't get the car pass tho...
Hopefully. when xbox one gets emulated, dlc will be able to be downloaded

I have only DLC for Fh3 is Hotwheels and it is so fun, not even lying Fh5 is dead. Fh4 and Fh3 and Fh2 were a blast

This will probably sound bias (because I’m Australian) but FH3 is the best (why?) because there an actual good amount of Australian cars. You got Ford/FPV Falcon XR8, GTF, F6 Ute, XB Falcon, XY Falcon, Holden/HSV/HRT/HDT HQ Sandman, HQ Monaro, VL Walkinshaw, Torana A9X, FX Ute, HRT VF Commodore, GTS VF, GEN-F GTS Maloo, VK Commodore Group A, GTSR (most def sounds biased but that’s that)
FH3 had more things to do. The vibe of the locations felt authentic, unlike FH5. FH3 Online was just super. Ruined it from FH4. The music, the sky effects, sun rays, night lighting... all epic. Car sounds were even better in FH3 in my opinion, except for a few vehicles. The game had vibe & felt more alive.
FH3 is a far better game than FH5 in most aspects. Not sure why at the end of your video, you stated FH5 was better.

I prefer FH4 and FH3 more than FH5, FH5 just feels very repetitive and boring, FH4 and 3 felt like they had a lot more things to do and more interesting/immersive gameplay imo
Loved how the online lobbies in FH3 worked compared to FH5 which is why I have 500 hours in FH3 and 30 hours in FH5
Personally, I didn't like the roads design in FH3 map, Fh3 Australia map it's empty in my opinion, but FH3 was the last real great Horizon game and it even had the best city: surfers paradise.
Remember how the Horizon games used to take some steps forward and some steps back?
I wish they still did that, instead of taking one singular step forward and then several backwards.

fh3 is my favourite forza game... not because I'm australian... the hotwheels dlc was incredible, the scenery was amazing and I loved the car meets.
Being Aussie makes a huge difference, it feels better to play Fh3 because well its our home, Fh3 was the best game ever
Camera movements and car suspension is by far the best i this game. Try getting in an oldsmobile, go offroad and watch the car bounce.
This game is defiantly the best horizon game and my favorite forza game.

Hot Wheels... and oh yeah, all the features in the video. But seriously, the Hot Wheels DLC is my NUMBER ONE REASON why this is my favorite Forza Horizon game. I've spent more hours perfecting not hitting the walls at max speed than playing the campaign and I have ZERO regrets! Only issue is that the Windows Store version for PC is eternally bugged and crashes after a few minutes of gameplay no matter what I do, so it looks like I'm stuck playing it on my Xbox One S.

The older Forza Horizon games are way better than 4 and 5. They were so much more fun and exciting and the music was way better too.

The performance issues on PC were the main annoying thing with horizon 3 tbh, harsh city frame drops despite being on a decent computer, it was relieving to see 4 and 5 improve on the performance.
Agreed, not to mention that the game is really hard to run even on modern configuration (i'm talking on PC not consoles). It's really hard to play it now without crashes. Even on the system i've finished it years ago it doesn't run no more.... I can't even play it nowadays....

FH4 started out with decent music but then they censored half of the best songs, the franchise hasn't been the same since.

5:20 Actually the Bentley gt3 body mods aren’t in fh5, only in fh4. I love this race car and was so disappointed to find that you can’t make it in fh5.
