It can be quite sedating. I've been taking it for years and I sleep 10 hours a night easily. So it should be taken at night. It will also increase appetite. But it does help my anxiety, and I have no problems with insomnia now, lol. I'm an adult with ASD.
Mirtazapine kept me awake by giving me an unbearable itchy-twitchy feeling in my lower legs - a sort of restless legs syndrome. Terrible. Was only able to sleep when I didn't take a tablet.
15 mg or 30 mg mirtazapine make us hungrier? I take 15 mg
Please don’t tell me they are giving this to kids. I’m coming off 3.75mg after six years. It made me 20kgs overweight and I became allergic to everything.
I’ve withdrawn to 1.62, these are the withdrawals I have when I went from 2.0 to 1.62 over a month.
Hives all over body, a shocking headache that never goes away, heart palpitations and occasional chest pain, fast pulse, tight jaw and teeth grinding, like I don’t know how to sit my teeth in my mouth anymore and they chatter a lot, I’m dizzy and feel nauseous, no appetite, 3 hours sleep, irritable and sensitive to noise, no energy and my brain isn’t working right - like I can’t think of words and put things in the wrong place etc. This stuff is horrific and shouldn’t be given to anyone let alone children. Give them a drop of CBD instead rather than setting them up for this horror.
Made me really fat
