- This video is for people who have downloaded ISBoxer, gone through their tutorial videos and set-up wizard and have created the window layout for your team. However, now you are wondering how to start playing multiple characters from one screen.
This is best for beginners to ISBoxer and want to start learning its functions. It works best with 2-boxing or 3-boxing. It does not cover keymapping or key binds but focuses on using the video effects feature to create a usable mini-ui from your sub-characters.
Great for beginners, 2 boxers or 3 boxers, true-boxers, tlp's and emus. Check your server for multi-boxer restrictions.

If I don't cover your question, the folks at Lavish are very helpful in addressing their user's needs. I am new to ISBoxer's multi-boxing functions, so I may not have the answers.
This is the best beginner video I have seen regarding Isboxer. They should pay you to make more.

Was looking into 2 boxing. This is way to involved.
Unfortunately, this is the simplest set up outside of true-boxing that I know of. It really isn't as difficult as it may seem, once you understand the settings, it goes fairly quickly. The easiest set up I know is a true-boxed cleric. much of the time it can be controlled with stand, complete heal and sit in classic through PoP.

I picked a display with 3 windows but I don't like it... main window is small and I don't like switching between them. What display did you start with?
Just came back from a decade long break 🤣
So, in ISBoxer, under the windows layouts, you choose the layout you want to adjust and select 'regions'. You you can re-size and re-position all the windows the way you like it. I did this video with two 27" monitors - probably had two on one and the main on the other. Keep in mind though, if you are using video effects, they will maintain aspect ratio - so the bigger each window, the clearer your vfx will be on your main.
So that's it, I'm using a single monitor... I also didn't bother resizing the main screen, I should probably do that tonight.

I think you would be better served by going to the redguides videos on that stuff; it and their forums is what got me through it. Also know that there is some upcoming work being done to mq2 due to the UI engine upgrades Daybreak is implementing. I doubt that will have an effect on an install now - but there may be some down time coming up; currently the eq test server is without redguides mq2 support from my understanding.
Is there a way to save this? I’m having to re build it every time I log in. Even if I start from the character set
It involves saving the profile, then using the drop down menu to load that profile next log in; and there may be a better way - I'd ask in the ISBoxer discord; it isn't very intuitive and I wish it would start on the profile you last created and there may be a way to do that - but ISBoxer is going to be a better source than me. I wish I had a better answer.

So won't work on mischief or thornblade unfortunately - but it will on Rizlona.

@@brycef.3441 Yes. It is ban-able on any official Daybreak server as the rules state "no 3rd party use". The rumor is that ISBoxer is not detectable as long as you are only using the windows and broadcast functions which is what this video covers. The vast majority of players on live box in some fashion or other - in that the core design of the game coupled with the current population means you pretty much have to in some way. But I told you that to tell you this: There are some players out there that are adamantly against boxing of any kind and will report people they suspect and Daybreak folllows up. This is how the majority of ISBoxers get banned. That said, there are some streamers out there that blatantly use ISBoxer, MQ2 and don't get banned even though their use is very public, leading one to believe that on some level Daybreak isn't going to go hardcore on cracking down. A couple of ban waves a year and the necessity to investigate player reports is about the extent of what you will see, typically. In many years of boxing, I have received one ban - on 3 accounts for 1 week - even though 6 accounts were grouped in a party at the time of banning. I was using MQ2. I have been mostly using just ISBoxer and the broadcast functions for about a year and I went through 2 ban waves without a ding.

LOL no worries; I've had my bans and dropped mq2. In my weak defense, I do state it is against the rules. There are private servers that allow it - so there's that....
And I worried there weren't any paladins left in the world.....
