They didn't have an Tyee in size L anymore. So I took the XL for the test ride. As all Propain Bikes have a smaller reach than other bikes the XL with a reach of 480mm fits me quite well. The bike was more stable in Rock gardens and other techy sections and still manuverable af. I've choosen size L for my Tyee because I'm riding 650b wheels and there is no 650b frame in size XL
@@feendt danke for the detailed answer, though iirc tyee xl has a reach of 500mm. I'll go with an XL since I'm planning to run a niner or a mullet! :-)
Jup.
still have a question about the frame. Is there a standard hole in the frame Propain tye al 6 at the top for cable routing or is it just through the SIXPACK Millenium ICR?
On the alloy frame the choice is yours. You can either go through the headset or the classic way . So you don't have to do the routing through the headset. If you wanna use the headset routing it doesn't matter which stem you are using. But with the Icr stem from Sixpack you won't get any water to the headset which is an huge advantage.
I don't own the new Tyee. Only the old one (Tyee 5). The cable routing on my test bike was not through the headset. So I can't tell you how it is to ride with that. But I'm not a fan of it
@@gabrielmarias972I got the new Tyee cf with integrated cable routing and had no problem so far. It is a little bit unfamiliar in the beginning because you can't turn the bar full 90 degrees or more. A bit similar to a downhill fork but i got used to it when doing whips and stuff. Crazy silent bike and suuuper fast
Guten tag, I'm also 1.86m, why did you choose an L and what did you think about the XL? Danke.

Hi! How tall are you and what size use? Thanks
If've tested the Tyee in size XL. I'm 1,86m. On my own Tyee I ride size large
@@feendt thanks! What about the headshet routing system? Any problem so far with the bearings?
Thanks again
