100 Years of Christ's Merciful Love in America | Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George

Arriving in 1923 in the New York Harbor, the Sisters of St. Francis of the Martyr St. George are now based in Alton, Illinois. Seeking to make the Merciful Love of Christ visible, we are simply ready to respond to the needs of the Church and to receive Christ's mercy in all the places of our hearts.

I am a religious in this community and entered 1979 in the American Province. Watching this video refreshes for me something that I always know and am aware of my vocation is a path to Jesus, and I sit here and say "Thank you for calling me into your trust."
