Phase 8: gaslighting (you try to cope with it by making yourself believe youre actually fine, that youre the happiest youve ever been, but in reality, youre suffering.) Phase 9: denial again (of course such fantasy wouldnt last very long, and while youre closer to solving these issues, you still struggle.) Phase 10: true acceptance.

ok personally, i feel like phase 9 could've had better attacks by which i mean attacks that aren't meant to be hard, but meant to make you remember like the attacks in phase 4, which were extremely "PAPYRUS", you know? and since the *_mysteryman_* is involved, and Papyrus remembers all the runs, here's some ideas i had: (which basically boil down to "remind you of pacifist") 1. make it deal like 1 damage or something, just anything lower than 10 2. have the previous phases shown in the background 3. reference the two spinning colour bones attack of phase 4 4. reference one of Undyne's attacks 4. reference one of MTT's attacks 5. reference Asriel's star attack 6. show all the characters whose attacks are being referenced faintly in the background, and original Papyrus at the end 7. end with a combined Papyrus blue attack and Toriel's fire attack (that goes around you) 8. maybe show Frisk and Asriel hugging?
You know, I really appreciate how for the most part, the attacks are actually fair and not just stupid hard like most fan projects. Creative, hard to dodge, but still fair and not ridiculous. Also, phase 5 theme slaps.

Gaster said he gave Papyrus the ability to bring memories to life. So, since he had brought Undyne back through memories, he could have been using the bones as the memory of Undyne used the Green SOUL... I'm honestly surprised that I actually said something somewhat logical. It's at least logical with the way this was made, and the lore they made... Anyways, that's my two cents.
this was a beautiful continuation of the original i feel soo sorry for papyrus, and the fact gaster had to step in and kick the player out of existence (KILLING THE WINDOW, THE PORTAL TO THEIR REALM!)

HOLY COW I permit it, there are now two Disbeliefs One tale of a skeleton accepting the loss of everyone in his life Aaaaaaand the logical extension of everything that the fandom LOVES about Disbelief It's fandomy, it's cheesy, it's the slightest bit nonsense, and I LOVE it too Even if it's lost a bit of the inspiration it had in the original, I still love just how WELL MADE this animation is, with the attack design being AMAZING Makes me a bit sad that we don't get to see Papyrus in his double-bone, shimmering eye form for Phase 5, but I suppose this one fits the transition to Phase 6 quite a bit more The callback to the boney elements of Undyne the Undying's section of BACKBONE in Phase 8 is grand! Although I DO feel there could be something added to it But... the GASTER phase... It's the most FANDOMY, CHEESY thing in this entire animation, and I loved EVERY SECOND OF IT 10/10 on this. although still excessive, this version of phase 5 makes sense as an interpretation of the original setting of disbelief. it's pretty clear that disbelief papyrus represents the 5 stages of grief in the first phase, he is in denial, thinking he can change you by sheer will alone in the second phase, he is angry, lashing out at you with all of his pent up emotions in the third phase, he tries to find a way to bring his friends back. bargaining with death, in a way. in the fourth phase, he is depressed, with his dearest memories on display in his attacks. at that point, all he's doing is venting out his despair. the fifth stage is supposed to be acceptance. in the original animation, this could be interpreted as papyrus understanding he can't stop you. however, in this version, it is him TRULY accepting that you can't change, and therefore putting up a last fight to the death. no more gimmicks, no more hard feelings, just pure fighting.

I just realized something. In all of these aus where something in the original Undertale happens like this, we are still the player and we still have control. The fact the things like this can happen where things go out of order after hundreds of genocides means that the characters have sentience in these aus and the fact gaster *I think* shut the window shows he knows he in a game.
It's cool that in the Phase 10 Prelude you added a comment from the Truer than Fiction TH-cam page for the dialogue, but you replaced some parts of it so it sounds more like Papyrus. Pretty cool.
I usually hate people adding more phases to characters like 3 or 4 phases are enough,as a example remember how fandom ruined lb sans with 10 phases I was a fan of lb sans until ppl started adding phases, but this animation is really well made past my expectations so I'll brush it aside,good job!

I know I'm late, but I really like the fact that Papyrus seems to be looking straight at the player in phase 7 and the end of 9 (and maybe 8 it's ify)
although still excessive, this version of phase 5 makes sense as an interpretation of the original setting of disbelief. it's pretty clear that disbelief papyrus represents the 5 stages of grief
in the first phase, he is in denial, thinking he can change you by sheer will alone
in the second phase, he is angry, lashing out at you with all of his pent up emotions
in the third phase, he tries to find a way to bring his friends back. bargaining with death, in a way.
in the fourth phase, he is depressed, with his dearest memories on display in his attacks. at that point, all he's doing is venting out his despair.
the fifth stage is supposed to be acceptance. in the original animation, this could be interpreted as papyrus understanding he can't stop you. however, in this version, it is him TRULY accepting that you can't change, and therefore putting up a last fight to the death. no more gimmicks, no more hard feelings, just pure fighting.

I just realized something. In all of these aus where something in the original Undertale happens like this, we are still the player and we still have control. The fact the things like this can happen where things go out of order after hundreds of genocides means that the characters have sentience in these aus and the fact gaster *I think* shut the window shows he knows he in a game.
It's cool that in the Phase 10 Prelude you added a comment from the Truer than Fiction TH-cam page for the dialogue, but you replaced some parts of it so it sounds more like Papyrus. Pretty cool.
Phase 10 is my favorite of them all.

I usually hate people adding more phases to characters like 3 or 4 phases are enough,as a example remember how fandom ruined lb sans with 10 phases I was a fan of lb sans until ppl started adding phases, but this animation is really well made past my expectations so I'll brush it aside,good job!
