The words were great. They touched our hearts right on down to our soul. I would like to issue this challenge. Tell the people you love how you feel now. Send them their flowers now. Sing their songs now. Spend time with them now. Do those things while they are still alive. Don't wait or put it off. The funeral is for you. What you do and say to them while they are still alive is for them now. You will have no regrets even if you can't attend the funeral.

Aretha Franklin...our "Queen of Soul"! I am glad to have had the pleasure of seeing/hearing her in live concert. I love and thank her for not only her enormous and life
changing contribution during and after the Civil Rights era; but for filling our hearts and souls with with such great music whose lyrics, instrumental arrangement, and her royally magnificent vocals would always tell a story with which each of us could relate.
Her legacy has been etched in the most precious stone and her music will resonate forever in our hearts world-wide!!

Really , I've could have done without him it's nice he knew her and spend time with her but he did nothing to move me . I was turned off by him saying Aretha and not Ms.. Aretha , i' m a 63 yr old woman and anyone friend or family 5 yrs and older my mother commanded we put a title on there name Mr., Mrs , Ms., Miss , aunty and or cousin . My mother believed in " RESPECT " for everyone and for that I am appreciative !
