Thanks again for supplying us with great gardening tips. I just wanted some dent corn for grinding into cornmeal so I chose Bloody Butcher. I wanted all of it to dry on the stalks but the squirrels had a different idea. Out of 4 forty foot rows I do not believe I will get a single ear. But I will have some fat squirrels. After decimating the mulberries in the spring, and then the corn they are now feasting on green hazelnuts.
I really like your channel. This is should be obvious BUT...How do you know how much water a plant needs? I live out in the country in northern Montana. How do you tell if your well water is okay for gardening? I want a garden and small yard, but will my well water be ok? If I have to haul water, how much water does a tomato plant need during a summer of 80 to 95 degree F weather? I am sure there are a million variables but I would really appreciate any idea you may have. Thank you.
If your well water is tested and safe for drinking, it will be just fine for watering your garden. Treated city or municipal water is worse since it may have chlorine and/or fluoride in it. How much water a tomato plant needs depends mainly on the soil composition, temperature and whether or not your soil is in a container.
I thought about growing corn but never got to it this year. Also someone said it attracts rats and mice? I really wasn’t going to plant a lot maybe six or so squares?
I could listen to you both all day. Thank you once again, keep smiling.
Thanks again for your encouraging words! May God bless you!
Thanks for sharing 😊

Time to go squirl hunting and put them in your freezer😊😂
I've got a 29" circumference tomato right now off your seed lines
Awesome! What seed?
What town does the community apple processing ? I would like to attend. Good videos
Could you do a demonstration on stripping the corn.
We hope to do a video on processing/freezing corn. Hopefully we'll find time in our work schedule to squeeze it in.
