Wow! Batsuits and bat cowls are cool with Japanese samurai-like armor 👍 The creativity and modeling of Japanese temple bells as Bat-Signal is amazing! !! Samurai Batman is like a guardian deity and is the best! 😆 Chris Thank you for introducing us to such a wonderful collection.

Love this one! That base might be the best in the line. Agree that it would be cool to be able to just buy the Bat Signal.
The bat signal really is the star of this piece.
I got this also but the B version. You got an amazing price on that brother. 👏 I also have the Batgirl and Nightwing which you need to get next. Great line.

I own Batman Shugo B, I think overall armor is more detail than the OG, especially the Bruce Wayne's portrait & the bat signal's paint job is the best that i have ever seen!
The signal is phenomenal!
Chris couple things... Was there some kind of music playing during your intro ? It was kinda distracting if so. I kept muting it to figure out where the sound was coming from. Secondly, I think both of these Batman Samurais would be great Standalone pieces. I may have to keep an eye out for this one, love that light.

Phenomenal Statue. I think this new version is more detailed and has far more presence while the OG has a more 'classic' feel.

I do get burned out, especially doing daily content. Every free moment I'm filming or editing...but it's the love of the hobby and community that keeps me going.

Keep both but if you had to sell one I’d sell Shugo only because the other is the OG n will only keep it’s looks great n value is great! 🙌

I own the Batman Black edition from Iron Studios in 1/3 (the one on the batsignal).
Do you think it's redundant with the batman Shugo ? Both with a dynamic pose on the batsignal.
Not necessarily...they are both outstanding and very different!!
My only criticism is the sword looks like there is a gap between sword and sheathe. Otherwise a really awesome piece. I really like the light up feature.

I’m able to switch between and turn off with the remote on mine. I think you hit the button again with the same color and it fades out after a min.

Thank you for the reply. Been contemplating the Batman shogun. Somehow I’m drawn to the gilt version, just don’t know what to expect in person and it’s so hard to find more photos and videos other than the official ones…
Just one switch out arm has more paint work than a whole Sideshow statue. I like Sideshow but XM really care about the little details.
Looks great as usual! Whole line is a no for me personally but I do enjoy looking from a far. 🤟🏼

Great review Chris. But I have to say I am really confused with the direction you are going regarding your collection. You sold the Arkham line because you wanted to focus on comic statues which is your main interest right? But then again those XM Samurai statues have nothing to do with comics! Also you said that you sold the New 52 Batman in order to get bigger pieces. Those XM pieces are half the size of the amazing New 52 Batman that you sold! Please enlighten me because I might be mistaken.

The fact that the sword does not line up with the sheathe kills me. I have the same issue. Disappointed, considering the price tag.
Mine lines up pretty well I feel.
