I've seen a lot of Magneto pieces and this is my favorite. I think it's a perfect Magneto, lots of early 90s vibes. The only problem is that I don't collect 1/3 otherwise I'd be all over this. Hope XM's upcoming 1/4 is just as good. Hell they could just redo this in 1/4 and I'd be in!

What a base! I can't believe how much detail they put into it. Those tendrils are nuts. All the portraits look great. This is one of the best statues I've seen in a while. I think his magnetic powers were affecting your tape measure!

I don’t know if words are adequate. This has to be the best statue ever. I am so glad I got it in order. But I am really afraid what shipping will be. That force field is probably a separate box.

This thing is a straight up grail piece for me. HOT DAMN its phenomenal
Not sure if anyone touched base on this.. but is something off with the magnetic field as far as dimensions? The prototype and website have it at a 29” width, whereas the sample piece placed it at 34”, and it reflects a lot on the one shown in the video.

Geez, the whole piece is nearly as tall as my wife (she's 4'10"). 😉 1/3 scale just takes up too much room, my statue area isn't big enough. But I tell ya, it looks so good I almost want to buy one and save it for later, in case I ever decide to knock down a wall and expand or something.

This does look really cool but I've never been the biggest fan of when they put the underwear on the outside of the pants. The magnetic effect does look better but would take up a lot of real-estate.
This is amazing. I’m not traditionally a Magneto, Cap, or Thor fan, but all 3 of those 1/3 statues are amazing. I like unmasked Magneto way more than I would have expected, but the angriest is my favourite. I’m shocked that you’d consider getting rid of the sentinels, but I’m all for seeing the next 1/3 you get . If the trend keeps up, I might even become a Cyclops fan!
Just checking out how this compares to the upcoming Sideshow year 2024 version. Nice, but dude, it's way too large in size, lol

Very cool got to be one of the most awesome looking magneto statues I've seen yet that angry face looks great on him love the the sculpt and the detailing on it can't wait to get this one.
The whited out eyes with him screaming I’d put in for portraits. Total rage mode. Next statue should be Mr Sinister.

Yeah, the fact that it looks good makes all the difference. For something that size it’ll expose any blemish easily. This one though, you can tell love and care was put into it.

Great review Gem. Thank you. I love this character. He and Dr. Doom have been my two favorite villains since 1973. I held off on picking up the Sideshow premium format figure in the hopes that a much better version of him would be made one day. Thank you Legendary Beasts for putting this out. Looking good, gem! Although, I will say be careful on loosing a lot of weight fast. My dad did that and it contributed to his heart attack and he passed away.
I have it ordered as well. I like it but I think it should have some floating metalic pieces and a little less muscular. Also, I wish he was posed a bit better to give more of an impession he was floating.

Well Gem. Alot of people complain for the price of $1,600 they don't get enough. Well no one can complain about it with this amazingly done sculpt of Magneto, showing his power of magnetism. Holly smokes this piece has so much potential with the many options you can choose from, with so many extra portraits and changeable parts. Love everything about it. Congrats on your purchase of the piece.
1600 is not that crazy to me for all of the engineering and work that goes into a 1:3 scale piece. It’s PCS that prices their 1:3 stuff outlandishly. I remember Kittyroge at one point getting real nasty with me for calling out PCS and their outrageous 1:3 scale pricing. But every 1:3 scale I’ve seen from Prime1 and Xm has been less than $2k so I guess I was right. Dude’s just a dick to people who don’t agree with him.
Wow! My favorite portrait is the unhelmeted. The helmet looks better as is, it does not need to be metallic.

These massive statues are incredible pieces but I really dislike the 1/4, 1/3 scale direction the industry has gone over the last several years. They make them nearly impossible to collect unless you can dedicate an entire room or floor to display them and the majority of the "room tours" I've seen just looks like a cluttered dusting nightmares. I miss the days of Bowen where everything was a consistent scale and the smaller figures allowed for cool bases without taking up half your dining room table.

Well this was an exciting reveal/review today. I thought this would be shipping a lot sooner but because it might come out in 8 months, I might be able to scoop it up. I am concerned however about the color of the metal on his collar or chest. I hope that's changed in the production, or maybe it's just the camera lighting. Anyways, great review Gem 💎!

Amazing statue! I’ve been heavily contemplating buying this but I think this helped me decide… as much as I dig it I don’t want to devote that much space to this! Even when I move into a larger house, I just don’t want to give that much to this. Lol. Keeping the PF for now which I like a lot.
