AMazing, simply amazing...it could have been filmed on a wet cardboard BOX roadway with burnt down forest for DAZE but it's about just being THIS...on the road and touring! What a feeling nothing like it! Good one guys...and what you said about communicating in long lapses of silence but just riding....NAILED IT!
Great stuff. Your a lucky man having a wife that loves riding. I am also lucky as my wife goes everywhere with me. Saturday’s forecast is for 79 deg and sunny in NJ. Day trip for sure. Can’t beat upstate NY, we ride various places all season. Thanks for the video and hope to see more. Love the shovel heads. I just bought a 2017 Kawasaki Voyager 1700 last July but still have my 93 Electra Glide that I’ve owned since new. Ride safe
Nice, i used to live 12 miles north of whiteface in the northwestern part of ausable forks. I’ve hiked up whiteface mountain, catamount mountain, and wilmington peak plenty of times, some of them during the peak of fall foliage and it is absolutely the most stunning, amazing, and breathe taking scenery in new york state in my opinion. I will always consider the adirondack mountains my home. : )
Wow, you nailed it at Whiteface. You hit it when conditions produced fabulous pix. And on the way there you went by my house. Hey, one bit of fatherly advice from a guy who started riding 45 years ago. I will assume that those close quarters tandem shots were done just for the purpose of getting the close quarters tandem shots. A reasonable risk. Riding that close to anybody when you're not getting cool shots or just on an all day cruise is to invite disaster. All my more experienced motorcycling buddies refuse to ride in close quarter packs. You cannot react quick enough if God forbid something bad happens to somebody five feet away. I've seen too many disasters in packs. OK...daddy lecture over.
Good Daddy-ing, right there! I'm across the pond here in VT, just bought a bike after about a dozen-year hiatus! I'm an avid hiker/backpacker of the High Peaks, but haven't done a lick of biking over there. Suggestions on routes? As for Vermont, boy do I love Rt 30! Cheers!
@@TK-cl1jm I haven't done a ton of riding in Vermont on motorcycle. I've done a loop that included crossing over from NYS on Route 74 via the Ticonderoga Ferry. Then up to Middlebury, nose around there, then back to NYS via the Crown Point Lake Champlain Bridge (the new one). But as for Vermont, it's almost impossible to have a bad tour. Just stay off the interstates. I've done car trips all over the Southern Half of Vermont from east to west. If you like the eclectic, the Shelburne Museum is fabulous. Just south of Burlington. A super rich lady collected absolutely everything. Circus stuff, a giant steam boat, a whole ancient drug store from the old days, quilts, and their entire apartment from Manhattan transplanted to a mansion filled with Monet paintings. And you can walk right up to them. Of course the virus probably has scrambled their schedule and rules.
@@TK-cl1jm Almost any part of Route 100 is a good scenic ride... some nice twisties in Granville Gulch, between Granville and Warren.... Smuggler's Notch.... maybe head out on Grand Isle....just a ton of good rides in Vermont...hard to make a wrong turn....
Very nicely done. I’m not sure what year this particular video is from. But this past season in 2020 was probably the most colorful I’ve seen in at least 20 years if ever. Looks like a blast being on the bikes up there.
Hi, what is the name of the restaurant in Alexandria Bay where 1000 Islands Dressing was first served? Asking for a friend….whose driving up there for the eclipse…in a few days

We visit the Adirondacks at least once a year and are always pleasantly surprised by the variety and beauty of the scenery. And the roads are AMAZING!
Very pretty part of the country that I’ve only skirted in my travels. I’ll have to fix that.
Happiness at its best! Good video! Made me feel good...
