Bongbong's version of his father's consolidating the process for Martial Law is accurate. That it was not just a "stroke of a pen" is right - that is what his father did. He followed the law.
No hate po, well at least I can speak for myself, I don't have any personal vendetta against Bongbong Marcos. I do have issues with where his ideology stands I mean, on this video alone I have major gripe with his stance on bringing the military into politics. That was the strategy Ferdinand Marcos used - by placing senior military officers in various government positions (mayors, governors, etc.) he was able to centralize power, I think that was what Bongbong was trying to explain here too... I'm sorry but I just don't believe in that. Side note, my dad is a retired military so I have an idea of what goes on inside. Military might without checks and balances was the reason for the tortures and abuses that happened under Martial Law which by the way, they were already found guilty of. Bongbong Marcos also has scandals of his own (Pork Barrel Scam and PDAF funds going to non-existent organizations). I try to be reasonable and learn as much as I can that's why I ended up in this video in the first place but as far as my research goes, I'm convinced that there are better candidates out there. :)
I commend BBM he is well educated. You have to be really smart to finish school in England(Oxford) and US(Wharton) for political science. Marcos consulted every people in the Gov't who has the power in the Nation, and didn't just make it out of power tripping.

Yes. A very sad reality for the family lineage of the marcoses. Lahat sila dinadamay either about sa martial law or kay FEM. His family nor him had no say in it. The final decision would still be up to his father and the responsibilities and consequences should be held on ferdinand marcos and him only. If we had people to blame, it would be the communists who fought for a democratic space in the wrong order. After the fall of the marcoses, the aquino reigned over and everything went downhill from there. The democracy they fought for ended the peace and order. Prices skyrocketed. Resources that should be handed out to the people for free or cheap were used by figures that made a fortune from it. And when that happened, when the ones who wanted the political power already gained it, no one batted a lid. No one was rallying. The communists were freed by cory and even given a compensation because of the "human rights violation" the martial law did to them. Yes. A very sad reality for the family lineage of the marcoses. Lahat sila dinadamay either about sa martial law or kay FEM. His family nor him had no say in it. The final decision would still be up to his father and the responsibilities and consequences should be held on ferdinand marcos and him only.
If we had people to blame, it would be the communists who fought for a democratic space in the wrong order. After the fall of the marcoses, the aquino reigned over and everything went downhill from there. The democracy they fought for ended the peace and order. Prices skyrocketed. Resources that should be handed out to the people for free or cheap were used by figures that made a fortune from it. And when that happened, when the ones who wanted the political power already gained it, no one batted a lid. No one was rallying. The communists were freed by cory and even given a compensation because of the "human rights violation" the martial law did to them.
The very same reason why marcos regime demoralized because fighting the filipinos is against human rights lmaoo
