Around 5 years ago I wondered if I could do most of my computing on an iPad and so I ran a little experiment. My needs included: -Office-type apps -Social Media/TH-cam -Managing my WordPress website/blog -Recording a podcast -Simple video recording and editing for TH-cam. -Photo editing (I was the photographer for a family wedding and was able to edit the photos on the iPad- and yes, I have a more professional editor on my MacBook Pro). -General internet stuff like banking, checking the news, etc. Although I had to do some things differently I was able to accomplish everything. I now have a Mini 6 which I can attach to a portable monitor via USB, and a keyboard and mouse (via Bluetooth). That setup is even better than what I experimented with 5 years ago. I definitely think that many typical computer users could get by just fine with an iPad and some sort of keyboard.
YES! the power cable! Nice!!! I love cases built with Magnets, it just makes so much sense! I am an IT Engineer and have built hundreds of machines and you did a really great job, real clean build. I love your content, great shots and lighting. Thanks for sharing!
Forget small form factors and cable management....awesome fur baby!!! On a more serious note your work is always of the highest calibre and so polished. One suggestion which you may or may not agree with...how about a white surround for your monitor and maybe get your monitor arm powder coated or wrapped to make it white too?

I have got so many cables trailing under my desk it drives me nuts - hoping to get some ideas from your channel!
Ive never heard of that channel, just checked it out and I loved it! I play guitar too so it’s even more interesting! And yes, this is made from parts at IKEA, so the table top is a kitchen counter, and the trestle and drawers are separate pieces

None at all. You can with cheaper IKEA worktops though, sub £80 ones tend to need a third leg in the middle

Hi Austin! SO I usually turn my office light off and use the godox and the natural light from the window to light the space. Hope that helps!
