“Shut It Down!” Isabel Oakeshott On Captain Tom Moore’s Daughter Being Paid Thousands

  • Captain Tom Moore's daughter Hannah Ingram-Moore was paid thousands of pounds via her parents' company in connection with her father’s charity.
As Hannah was CEO at the time, it is suggested she was representing the charity; however, her fee was paid to Maytrix Group, a company she owned with her husband, instead of the charity.
It has been alleged she did not seek approval from the charity before entering a commercial agreement.
She has not yet responded to the claims and a spokesperson for the charity revealed they are launching an internal investigation.
Isabel Oakeshott says: “It’s so disappointing. Inevitably it affects the way you feel about the whole thing.”

There would seem to be multiple offences. Another was applying for planning permission to build offices for the Capt Tom Foundation at her house, but instead building a swimming pool and spa complex for herself. This is blatant fraud.

@@strypzee excellent point. You'll never hear of the Freud connection in the daughter's highly embellished version of events. And Tom was certainly no war hero, despite what the daughter would have you believe. The nearest he got to a front line was as a motorcycle courier in Burma in World War Two, but he was only there for a few months. He spent most of the war in India, well away from any fighting.

I wouldnt give a penny to the NHS and I'll tell you why. My partner died of cancer this year, before she went into hospice care, I was looking after her at home. The NHS delivered boxes of stuff to us for her care at home. When she went into the hospice, there was still a lot of stuff at home, brand new, sealed and boxed. I contacted the community nurses to ask them to collect it, you know what they said? "Oh just bin it, it cant be used for anyone else once it has been prescribed for someone". I explained it was all equipment and totally sealed up. They wouldnt take it back, they insisted I binned it. What a disgusting waste of money, as I am sure I am not the only one this has happened to. In the end I sent it on an aid truck over to Ukraine, better that than the bin. The NHS is so poorly managed, it will NEVER recover.

I thought she was being negative but she did point out that she worked in the NHS for over 40 years and any donations received were subject to a great deal of administration. During 2020 I was laughing at everyone giving money to captain Moore as I knew it wasn't gonna go to the actual charity
Same as BLM donations , that one had me creasing with laughter knowing so many people across the West were paying for black grifters to move themselves out of black neighbourhoods and buy themselves big houses in safer white neighbourhoods

They (the family) used their elderly Father/Grandad/Great-dad to make money and benefit from 'his endeavour' to raise an incredible amount of money for our NHS during lock-down.
Lets not forget the law of the land and English law, that building without planning permission, building regs etc... Goes against (and has possible legal implications and actions). Did they seek planning permission?
Moreover, making money from a very elderly (veteran) relative is pretty sickening.

I never donate to charity marathon runners or any charity that relies on people doing stupid stuff in order to get the donations either. Charity is supposed to be about giving without receiving and before any of you whine about me being a stingey git I regularly donate to several charities and all I expect in return is that they do their charity work!

There was something disabling about it all - and intentionally so. I felt he was the perfect symbol for the country's response to Covid. Nothing against him personally of course - he did what he could - but the circus of it all is objectionable.

We paint way too many people in colours that perhaps they never deserved or never truly existed.
Charities are abused by the people who set them up, my mate is an injured Iraq war veteran, worked for a military charity as a director, then watched the founder give all his family jobs and cars
in the charity name, and by all accounts was legal. My mate walked out when he saw how little went to good causes and the rest went into back pockets.
I agree with Isabel, shut the charity down and prosecute the daughter and her husband for their wrong doings.....name and shame !
Everyone who bought the books either deserves a refund, as the proceeds were destined for the foundation in his name, and now not the case which is deception and fraud as the daughter
pocketed the proceeds, or the money given to charity and managed.......make the surviving Ingram-Moore's bankrupt.
