@@arkedin2759 basically the tv output wasnt working for some reason, I had another switch and that transmitted normally to the tv. Everything else worked fine with that switch oled so it was strange. Thankfully I got it exchanged with no extra charge because it was still under warranty
I just might do that someday. With so many titles the idea of having them on a specially themed console is fun. I could always find a skin that's more evenly representative of the series I suppose.

I eventually gave my old switch to my cousin that really wanted their own switch. I don’t waste my money on an extra switch when I have a perfectly good one already. As someone who has a switch from the year it released, I bought this because my old switch is run down and has to stay on the charger to work, and because I thought it looked cool.
Honestly I’ve had the same switch since launch year and its starting to wear slightly. When playing handheld the controllers tend to disconnect frequently, the battery life has significantly reduced (from like 3 hour battery life to 1 hour 15 minute), and most of my game cartridges take like 16 tried to get them to work. Honestly i may just buy the Totk OLED model
my aunt got it bc the animal crossing's screen broke and it was really hard to see the left side of the screen, and she wanted a new switch and this was the perfect opportunity to get a new limted edition switch
every single nintendo fan i’ve ever interacted with has either a) gotten all their games at gamestop used to the point of being nearly completely destroyed, all of their consoles were hand me downs or gifts, and their “setup” is their bed OR b) this guy
I bought the Zelda one just to upgrade my day 1 one. That one still works great and I will still continue to use it for certain games. I also bought a second Zelda one just in case my first one got cancelled because they canceled my Zelda controller that I still don’t have and will probably never get now, but because it didn’t get canceled, I gave it to my 7 year old daughter and now she has her own Switch.

I wanted the totk switch because it's a zelda limited edition. Unfortunately, it's like 70$ more expensive than the regular Oled in my country so in the end, I just went with the white Oled.

I can’t justify spending $350 plus a new case screen protector and SD card… I have a toddler and a car payment and rent and food etc. I’ve become use to squinting every time I play lol
I dont play my switch often. Ive never had a level 9 drift. I throttled at around a lvl 3 drift. I play TOTK and I reach a lvl 10 in days of playing TOTK. I go to Amazon, buy a $10 pair joycon sticks to swap out my bad ones... Days after that BOOM! Drift again!?!? TOTK is almost forcing people to buy a new switch I swear
I'm not a huge zelda fan so my opinion isn't really important but the design is kinda hard to look at, looks random. The 3ds gold zelda edition on the other hand is posibly the most beautiful nintendo console ever. I love mine so much and i wish they did the switch similar to that.
I have both mater hunter rise and Zelda edition ns-oled untill I realized buying limited edition console is for those collector only, while I'm here play it like there no tomorrow. And what's more normal version to limited they both have same feature etc except that design that's all. So yeah it's better to buy normal version, except you are a collector

The only reason I have a zelda switch oled now was because my pokemon scarlet and violet switch oled was defective and I got a free exchange for it
