So... One of the (many) problems with the mike adapter is apparently the TYPE of 3mm Jack Plug. It's about the rings on the actual plug. You require a TRS, NOT a TRRS..! (Tip, Ring, Sleeve) NOT (Tip, Ring, Ring, Sleeve) Apparently this is a common mistake! I've just got a 6 Black, and the adapter, but no mike yet, I'm having trouble finding one that doesn't have 3m of cable on it! All the ones I'm finding go out of their way to have an 'EXTRA LONG CABLE'! Gits... Just for information, the apparent reason for the brick is because it handles power too. You can charge the camera through it. But since you can't actually record with the camera charging, I don't much see the point. So no matter how BIG a memory card you put in, you're still limited to 1.5 to 2hrs worth of recording... :/ Where are you mvloging from? Ok, so... Bit of an update to my original post... I said that you can charge through the brick but you can't film at the same time... I've since been told that you CAN record whilst charging through the brick. I've not tried this, so I can't prove it. Apparently the idea is to stick a powerpack in your pocket and run off that... On a higher note, I PASSED my Mod2! Got the licence, got the gear, got the gadgets, now I just have to figure out how to afford the bike! lol

Im still on the same tyre shamefully as I've only done about 1,500 miles on it! But I know someone who regularly gets 5,000 out of their batalax
