Fanola is the best overall for me. Milkshake gave me the best results, leaving the hair most neutralized, clean and blond, more so than Fanola, but is a bit drying. I use it for special occasions with a great hair mask after.
Great video Heidi! It’s funny you mention the Olaplex 3 because what I do is I give myself the number 3 treatment and 10 to 15 minutes before I throw on top the Olaplex 4P purple shampoo and leave 10 - 15 minutes and then shampoo. My hair always feels fantastic! 😘

So some of the shampoos that say that they're a "purple shampoo" will actually work on darker hair? There are not near the blue pigment hair care products, as there is purple. I had highlights, but I decided to just go with my natural color (light/medium) brown before time takes my hair over and I start getting a lot of grays! But, I will get an orange-ish tent where my highlights are covered up.

Thank you! I love Kerastase products for oily scalp, so I was going to automatically buy their blonde products. I will try the Goodbye Yellow instead first, especially considering the price difference!
@@heidiguttenberg I definitely noticed a difference in the effectiveness, but Kerasatse's is gentler. My daughter also tried it & loved the effect. She didn't notice more dryness like I did, but I think that might be from too much daily heat abuse & this exacerbated it. Since I do think it's awesome, I'll just make sure to go a week of no washing & extra conditioning prior to using like I would prior to coloring.

I start on the roots and leave it there longer. The exact timing depends on how brassy my hair is. Start with 2 mins at the roots and keep growing from there.

Hiii! Mix in No 3 😀 You can experiment with the amount, you don’t need a lot. Remember that the purple shampoo is on your hair only 5 mins. I will show you in a future video 😉

Yes, if your highlights get warmer, more yellow with each wash I would say you can benefit from it.

Can purple shampoo be used on dark hair with balayage or highlights?
Yes! If you notice thay’re looking yellow and want them more neutral or ashy.

No need to test any purple shampoos, Fanola is the best purple shampoo in the world ever.
