- Oliver and his brother haven't seen each other since they were ten weeks old. So we were super excited when we heard that Oliver's brother lives only 100 miles away, in Milwaukee! We arranged a meet-up in a dog park north of Chicago and the two brothers had a wonderful afternoon together. Watch as Oliver and his brother reunite, scramble in the mud, beg for treats, and generally behave as brothers do!

It’s so emotional to see the two Oliver as puppies playing together and to see them now all grown up 🥰
I completely agree--it was such a special visit, and it meant so much to us! We have wondered so many times what kind of life the other Oliver has been living, and it was amazing to have the opportunity to see him again five years later. We're so happy that he has been living such a happy, fulfilled life with his wonderful dad Archie.

I wonder if they remember each other or feel they're brothers ?!.. both Olivers are free spirits for sure, especially Milwaukee Oliver!.. it made me very happy that his owners are extremely nice, just as you guys!! Chg Oliver was disappointed he didn't get as muddy as his sibling 😁🐶💕
I think maybe they were so interested in each other's scent (and poop/pee) because it revealed a relationship in a way only dogs can notice.

@@suedenim I think so, it’s subtle but I’m sure the sib relationship is somehow tangible. Also the way they follow each other. They are slightly different in demeanour when other dogs come over but with each other it’s a different comfort level.

Edit: Wow, so only your Oliver inherited the howl! I absolutely love Oliver's howl, and my dogs are fascinated by it, but neither of mine can howl, that's a unique ability not all dogs have.
I just love seeing the two Olivers playing together and they both share their personalities.

This video gave me LIFE!!!! Thanks so much for sharing such a joyous moment in Oliver's life! We moved to the Chicago area last year, and our Bailey loves our dog-friendly neighborhood (plenty of four-footed friends) and all the nearby nature preserves. We've managed to keep her out of the mud pits.

It was so funny to see them getting in the mud pit, Chicago Oliver wouldn't have done it by himself, he felt like following his brother. It is interesting to see that the Oliver we know is more a follower than a leader.
So cute! My Beagle Astro makes the exact same yawning sound "Aouu" that both Olivers make. It's the cutest thing everrrrrr
There's an Oliver video made a couple years back called "Sounds Beagles Make".
I watched it, and went "yep, yep, yep" then Bagel (the resident Beagle) started vocalizing right along with every single sound.
Oh my gosh, so lovely seeing Oliver & Oliver together, and learning more about the differences & similarities between the brothers. That mud pit sure looked fun though!

This video reminds me of when my childhood dog Snoopy and his brother Pepper would visit us.
Pepper's owner was the man that my dad carpooled to work with, and he would bring Pepper over to visit with Snoopy occasionally.
It was great seeing them together too.
I guess siblings connect whether they be human or animal.
I loved seeing Chicago Oliver and Milwaukee Oliver meet as adults! It's like they were never separated and they still act like puppies 🐶 except they find more interesting things to smell and roll in! 😄 You have to wonder what their sisters are like...I hope their humans contact you. 💙

The best video ever!! I hope our Sid can meet with his sister one day. She went to a family with 4 children!! Our neighbors sister has her so we do get updates from time to time. We hope to see more Oliver’s Adventures soon. They are both so sweet together. Howeling is our Sids passion. His talent is pulling up grass from underwater!
