I watched this video and then took my partner and son up there. We did the same route and did it as a multi-pitch route. It was a bit exposed in places and although the climbing is easy it was just better to have us all roped up. If it wasn’t for this vid I might not have attempted it. Thanks for putting this together!
I love your videos man, they are the very best entertainment and your kids are awesome. Stay safe, look forward to more of the same. I save them all to watch again.
Thank you. I do these videos as I really enjoy making and editing them + have films to refresh my or in this case family memories.. However I am really happy if somebody else enjoy watching them too. I try not to be too serious in videos because there is enough hassle in everyday life. Really glad you found it entertaining as I know my humor doesn't work for everybody..:-] This climbing trip was very special, maybe best I ever done with kids. Cheers Jonas
Holy sh*t, your kids climbed that?! And the hard (non tourist) way! Fair play to them (and you), even I was getting nervous watching some of those drops. You must be very proud of them 👍🏽
Thank you. Of course I am. Tourist route up would be torture and bore for them:-] We enjoyed most of the Curved ridge but towards the end it was really tiring for all of us.
Absolutely brilliant! I'd love to take my daughter up one day (she's 10 at the moment). Your video taking your kids up Castle Ridge on Ben Nevis is also really impressive!
Thank you, Castle ridge is perhaps at the same grade of difficulty, but I would say its a bit harder than Curved ridge thanks to one crux section which is technically slightly above anything in these two climbs/scrambles. Nevis was much longer day all together, I think 12HRS. Good Luck with your daughter.
1. How old is Jonas in this film? I have that many years minus 7 weeks until I can replicate this myself! 2. Jura (official bottlings) are not great. So much better whisky out there. 3. It's awesome to see your kids talking to each other in Scottish accents, but still able to talk to you in (I assume?) Polish. Well done for raising them bilingual! An independent Scotland as part of the EU should hopefully see life go back to normal for pan-European families like yours. We can only hope. All the best, and hope to see more videos soon!
Hi Chris and thanks for your comment. 1. He was 5,5. This sentence of yours I don't understand: ''I have that many years minus 7 weeks until I can replicate this myself!'' 2. I like Jura. I am not a whisky expert but think you get a good whisky for the money you pay for bottle. 3. We are Czechs. I always try to speak to my kids in Czech language. Its only in videos I use English as vast majority of my viewers are Scottish people. 4. Not supporter of the idea of independent Scotland. If I had guarantee that Scotland won't go to EU as an independent country then maybe yes. But better stay in UK then to go to EU! I live normal life here apart from this virus madness now but that's same for everybody.
@@jonashubalekwhiskyandthewild Thanks, maybe you see it at some point I just started looking into some harness for kids and I am afraid our current situation is still a bit longer...thanks and all the best.
@@StripeyHatGuy Just found it. My son was using Black diamond, daughter was on Mammut. I don't think it matters too much as long as you buy a new one, not used.
I love how at 14:17 Luisa is quietly helping Jonas, telling him where to put his feet. Awesome kids!
Thank you

@@tasty_fish Ha ha thank you. No, this is just a wee channel:-] Most local people where we live don't know.
Love the look of this mountain. Would like to do this over the next 18 months. Well done!
Good Luck. There is a tourist path to Buachaille too if you don't fancy climbing. Thanks.

11:20-11:30 probably my daughter in the background. (Not a kid anymore) Tak na marginesie: To tylko Czesi i Polacy tam łażą?
I know.. sometimes it looks like that:-]
