    Did you ever post the DPF cleaning? Have the same code in my ‘13 but probably need a cleaning too after replacing my egr cooler this week. Thanks

      I like my Volvo. The one down fall is not every one can work on them if it has the Volvo engine like mine. I’m currently looking at international truck with a Cummins engine myself for used trucks. New trucks I would choose between Mack and Western Star personally

    Even with those codes can you still use the volvo (running to get the job done) ?

    I was unsuccessful in undoing the electrical clip. The red parts wouldn't budge, and doesn't look exactly like yours

    Did check engine sensor light go off in its own or did you reset?

    • @TruckingLife
      @TruckingLife  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It ended up going off on its own

    That sensor didn’t fix the issue, I’m thinking I have a clogged dpf.

      That sensor didn't fixed my problem either...truck is going in derate in 3h

      @@Sunsetime2 My issue turned out to be a full dpf. I removed it and had it cleaned for 350 bucks. Not an issue since. Turns out everything was working just as its supposed to but the ash builds up in the filter and can only hold so much. 815k when I pulled it and doubt it had ever been clean. Now getting better fuel economy too. Good luck

      At the other shop they were able to remove the red code and perform a Regen .. solved 5he problem for now

    • @maxenra
      @maxenra ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Sunsetime2 Glad they got you up and running. I'd seriously consider getting that dpf cleaned as the regen is only a temp fix it doesn't actually remove the accumulation of the ash in the can.

    Man u need a new truck 🛻 when u going to Alaska?

    • @TruckingLife
      @TruckingLife  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      AFC dispatched me to start Dec 7th. But the Union canceled it before I even left. Because of COVID they kept Alaskans busy first. Then with the executive orders Biden signed a lot of them have been laid off as well. So long story short, I’m not sure if there will be another ice road season. I did just add Canada to my Trucking Authority so there is a chance we haul some loads to Alaska. And yes I need a newer truck lol.. I’m kinda liking the new Mack. But I have not been in one either.
