    • @85ABC

    • @markdnffc
      @markdnffc หลายเดือนก่อน +4

@@85ABC It is catagorically not all theory, it is fact. You do remember when the first vaccines were administered in UK, don't you? I'll give you a clue: It was December 2020 and we were still in the EU.
Also, to your second point, Hungary approved Russian vaccines for their own use before the EU's collective vaccines were approved by the EMA. Because it was a collective EU plan, the EU's vaccines were half the price that the UK paid for our vaccines, solely due to the sheer volume of orders. Not only that, the majority of EU countries had outstripped the UK's vaccination program within three months.

On the polls point, they've been saying people would vote to remain since September 2016, not just recently.
But we never had a second straight vote, so it's been twisted one way or the next over the years to ignore the new popular position and deny the brexit betrayal. People knew they were lied to in 2016, before it came into being...
They rejected the tories in 2017, 60% of the electorate rejected the tories in 2019. Leave parties lost in the EU elections and most recently the tories have been wiped out at this year's election.
Also on the vaccine, within a couple of months the EU had outdone the UK on the number of vaccines administered, so Johnson is being very selective with his stats

I was somewhat disappointed at his style of questioning today pointing a finger and being in my opinion too aggressive. @@rebecca_noble What was relevant during the time I lived and worked in the UK, was that the UK was open to residency for EU citizens as part of the common market. This made the UK a very attractive destination to live and work. Just one positive (and non partisan) testimony for your country🇬🇧🙏💜

      @@MoralScienceEducation well, that's fine, MSE,..
At present there's are 5.8 million EU people with (pre)settled status in the UK.
In stark contrast, there are 1.4 million UK ex pats (predominantly retired) in the EU. That is highly in favour of the EU. And it disadvantages uk people.
The UK wants control over its immigration and we want fairness. Not favouring EU people over other applicants.

Decades of polling show that the Brexit vote result was about average in its results. There has always been a few point split between leave and remain. Often in favor of remain. And just as often in favor of leave.

Here is a poll question Times Radio should discuss and then conduct.
1: Should the UK return to the EU as it is currently constituted?
2: Should the UK return to the EU but only if EU governance and bureaucratic control is better democratized?
3: Should the UK join NAFTA and integrate with the US? This might mean ending the Commonwealth
4: The UK should remain completely independent and leader of the Commonwealth?

Some rules for interviewing Johnson. Don't laugh at his jokes, don't fall for his faux classicism, and his excuses, don't fall for his distractions. Fact check him, go straight down the line all the time. Like many fraudsters he'll become evasive and aggressive, but keep going.
