- In this full #review I will explain all the specs of the 2024 #Subaru #Impreza #Sport then take it for a test drive. For 2024 the Impreza is all new with the crosstrek engine, interior and will only be a Hatchback that will lead me to some quirks which will bring out the pros and cons.

The RS never had a turbo and the current RS has more horsepower than any of the original RS models did. The only miss is not providing a manual transmission option for those that wanted one. But I’m tired of people playing up the first RS models like they were some performance cars. They were not.
I didn’t say it had a turbo, I did say it has no manual and its not that fast 👍
I do agree people want a 350 hp in a sporty sedan under 30k and makes 8.5L/100km they're asking too much
Just bought a sport with a slightly different package, folks need to remember not everyone is going to drive this like they just stole it,how ever i live up north and i just drove through a snow storm with 6 inches of snow like it wasn't even there, and my personal motto "it's a marathon, not a sprint".
Well said 👍
In other words, it's slow 🤣👍
BTW, I have a 2023 Crosstrek premium and love it.
@@jeffrey3498 it's slow as fuck, but what else you getting for a budget of 30gs. I drove one for 6 years and just bought this. nothing drives like that thing in the snow.
Can you turn off/on the auto stop? Great review, thank you!
Yea you can 👍
thank you! And…phew…! 😄
I have one of these, the 2024 model Sport. I previously had the 2018 model in which I did 155,000 km. That previous car was so good I went for the updated model of thd Impreza over other makes of car, although the Mazda 3 hatch was a close contender. I have just today completed a 300km road trip being a mix of highway and rural road driving. Even in the non sport mode these cars have plenty of performance and to me prjvide a very sayisfying ride, and all the power you need when needed. The only negative with this new model is that I am sure there is more road noise over the previous model, which I expect is due to the lower profile tires.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing David
People on the comments everyone “no manual no buy”. Don’t buy then. I myself always had manual, getting older now, I do appreciate a computer driving me around some times.
Nothing wrong with that 👍
Crazy how this is in Wesley chapel right at the sports center never knew you were there 😂
It is close by 😁
@@HawkeyeRides I live in the apartments you passed in the video at the sports center
@@lancethomas5701 that’s awesome I’ll be at BMW next week on Tuesday stop by and ask the team
@@HawkeyeRides for sure !
I would be interested in the WRX wagon/Levoreg........"IF".......it was offered in an manual. Until then Ill hang on to my "manual" Impreza.
Yeah I would keep the manual
I want a croastrek in this color
@@toyota420xp I like this color too
This or corolla hatchback?
That’s a hard one because both are good for overall value. I would go to this for room inside but the Corolla for the sporty exterior and if feels a little more sporty in the drive.
Thank you! More power to your channel. Subscribed!
If this was manual I would have purchase 2 of them. Having said that is automatic. So I'll find something else.
It’s not everyone’s fav 👍
I'll keep my 2020 Sport - it has all the amenities of the new RS except for the 2.5L motor. Oh, and I have a donut spare instead of a can of fix-a-flat, as well as an actual handbrake. While it's still a good car for the money, there is nothing about the latest generation that warrants trading in my 2020.
It is a different vehicle which is more Crosstrek than Impreza 👍
@@HawkeyeRides Capitalizing on the popularity of the Crosstrek, no doubt. Cost vs features, though, I'll keep my 2020 Sport.
It has 2 problems.
1) No turbo. How they gonna call it an RS? It’s just the same bs Toyota does with the trd trim.
2) it’s got a CVT. I’m not a hater of the transmission but a CVT has no business in a RS trim.
Good points 👍
This is the Sport trim
@zergilli9719 yes the full msrp is in the first 2-15 seconds of the video
