I have amazing internet and pretty good service. Phone service isn’t amazing up at the shopping center at the front of the neighborhood but I have no issues at home and internet is great
Are you able to really drive your golf cart everywhere in Conroe? As in are the roads all have speed limits that your golf cart can be compliant with? That's so awesome if it's true. I would love to leave the car at home and just get around town, shopping and hanging out just driving a golf cart.
No not all of Conroe, just around Grand Central Park and the shopping center and restaurants located here. But there are about 25 food options, shopping and grocery stores that are all in golf cart distance. It’s a good time. People also use their carts to go to others homes in the neighborhood or community amenities.
Great video introduction to Conroe. The camera loves you. :) I am considering a move to Texas and now possibly Woodlands or Conroe. Three questions for you: 1) How is crime in Conroe specifically? 2) How far is a Whole Foods grocery store from Grand Central Park? 3) Ae there any lots in Grand Central Park with half an acre of land? Thanks!
Hi! Thanks for the comment. 1) I don’t keep up with specific crime specifics for Conroe, but I have been here most my life and not seen crime be an issue. 2) Whole Foods is exactly 16 minutes from my door here in GCP 3) There is a small section of 16 lots about to be released that will be the largest lots out here, will probably be about 1/3 acre lots. Those homes will probably be $850k-$1.1M
@@anay6855 so there are currently 14 different builders building in GCP. They buy the lots from the developer, then you buy the home from the builder on the lots they have available. So there are homes from 1600sqft to 4500sqft out here currently.

We are looking to retired and move from California. My husband’s family lives in Onalaska but I find that it is just too small of a town. The things that are important to me are to have an Episcopal or Anglican Church, Library, great volunteering opportunities, and a active retirement community near by that is quite multicultural. Yes! The have kayak rentals for paddle lake, but you can bring your own kayak to use in any of the other lakes. There is good fishing in the lakes as well.

@@mohammadowais8683 no flooding issues! I have a client building there right now. The developer knows the exact elevation of the worst flood events and built well above that. I’d love to help you build with Jamestown or j Patrick there. I’m very connected with both builders

I wouldn’t say woodforest or grand Central Park are better than one another, I just want to clarify their differences. I personally chose GCP for the small feel, the location, and the nature component. I have clients that choose woodforest for other reasons like how it’s more secluded, larger and more amenities and different school options

They are currently building pickle ball in the neighborhood. There are no plans for courts in the neighborhood but there are some courts about 7 minutes away.
Houses are to close together! This neighborhood was suppose to be all that. Who wants to live 3 foot away from your neighbor? The Boy Scout property was massive. They could have really made this neighborhood something special.
Only central and west village are developed. GCP has 2 types of trails. We have paved sidewalks that line the roads throughout GCP, then the grandeur trail is a crushed gravel travel that runs a couple miles around Grand Lake. There is also a paved half mile loop around paddle lake.
I feel like that made a HUGE mistake with this neighborhood and just about everyone I know personally, feels the same way! The lost are entirely to close together! It’s ridiculous! Whoever designed the lots, I feel like they are all about making money! Let’s squeeze as many houses as we can on one street! Do you guys have any idea how BIG that Boy Scouts property truly is? It’s Massive! They really could have made that place something special. Instead they crammed these houses in there and it sucks. Great video. The one thing I didn’t notice was sidewalks in the front yards of homes… did I miss them, or does GCP not have sidewalks?
It has sidewalks on the main streets, you just walk to the end of your street to hop on them, they don’t run through your front yards
