The software EcoStruxure Machine Expert Basic (former SoMachine Basic) allows you to program the Modicon M221:

In order to program the Modicon M221 you can use a miniUSB cable (TCSXCNAMUM3P or BMXXCAUSBH018).

could you plz explain Modbus TCP for M172 in order to read registers

Hi Abdellah! It’s been a while since i do not upload any content related to M172 i will need to work on that.
Anyway, the registers are “created” on the configuration depending on the type of variable status or eeprom then on the bios parameter you will need to activate the eth port (check the default values to enable it) and configuration of the network.

​@@LeTomasAHUMADA to active the eth port, i have to give him 502 or the default value 65535? there is a way to share you what i did (mail for example), because i have just a problem in the configuration!! PLZ

@@abdellahbazmat9508 you can enter the 502. If you need to read info from the m172 try in the master add or subtract one to the register probably is that because is very straight forward to read/write info from the m172.
I wont be available until next tuesday so i recommend you to contact the schneider technical support team in your country to sort this out quickly.
