I tried to use REAL and converted REAL to INT but still it didn't work. As per BOOL variables it works perfectly. Can you help me what should be done if the values that are being processed and anything else but BOOL types ? THank you

@@krompir4392 if the value that you are trying to read it gives you error then it is a different problem. Now if you read something then you have two words you can assign the values to two memory words that you create and in the same position create a real, for example: wVar1 : WORD AT %MW0; wVar2 : WORD AT %MW1; rVar : REAL AT %MD0;

Hi there! Unfortunately i do not use CodeSys even if Machine Expert is based on that. Codesys should have the ioscanner too on the plc that you have then you need to check if the register that you want to read is correct (sometimes add or substract 1 to the address) then the code to convert the variables should be the same

Hi there! I believe I have some examples some where but I need to check if they are mine. In order to access to some devices you will need to add that route also in the laptop otherwise it will not work , I did test that before the table routing I will need to play with again. If you get many errors and you think the addresses are correct I advice to contact the technical support in your country

Hi Boban, inside ESME HVAC we have some function blocks to control the ATVs. The blocks are located in the Library Tree. We need to go to Project libraries > Communication > ATVxxxModbusCom but you still need to read/write the ATV using the Ioscanner or the Modbus FC.

Hi there! In the M221 you can easily in each rung. In the M251 (using Machine Expert) the option is hidden by default and you need to enable to use the IL language. If i am not wrong is in the option but i do not remember (i show it in one video but idnk which one). If you are after LD to ST that is not available

Hi there! We can have a logging group with multiple variables and maybe some of those do not require a trace because we just want to have the data in text so we need to specify the "Group Name" and the variable inside the logging group on the "Channels > Channel x".

@@LeTomasAHUMADA I understand the logic of what you say. It's just that may you could just load all channels when you select the logging group and just have a checkbox to enable/disable each trace. So it could all be more automatic, just saying. Thanks for the work, EOTE it's really.. convoluted 😅

Buenas Marcelo, hay un metodo interno para desbloquear (recovery) el HMI pero para esto deberas contactar al technical support the Schneider para que te deriven al team para realizar esta operacion, solo es interna.

Hi there! This method is for other hmis. The HMIET6 uses Vijeo Designer Basic. You can try to download the application via usb stick.

@@LeTomasAHUMADA I have downloaded it via Vijeo Designer Basic and when I want to download it again, the message "error 1800: cannot find defined target machine. On the target machine, please confirm the target model and IP settings" appears. This makes the download to the HMI fail so the display doesn't work. Is there a shortcut to go to recovery mode or do you have any suggestions?

I have a custom SW with modbus driver to work with and it requires modbus device ID ( I think in my case it's 0 , when I add ip address on Modbus TCP with ID 0 ) and register number to read from device ( from 40000 to 49999 ) or write - but where I can find address of PLC variables ( like %IWN300 in IO scanner used ) . Do I need to add all commands in channel assist for my PC IP - read , write , read/write?
