I’m such a running shoe geek that I would go broke if I wanted to own all of the new running shoes that come out every year. Am I alone? Happy running everyone!
By modifying the carbon plate, net bases, foam layering, and upper, the S-Lab Spectur is able to accomplish a much more stable experience along with the same bouncy ride a super shoe is known for. The new design seems to be testing even better for 3-4 hour marathoner. Not to say a 4 hour marathoner couldn't wear a classic elite inspired super shoe, but Salomon feels the Spectur's design will be even more beneficial for runners in that time range. Our testers are looking forward to trying them out in May. -Connor

Good morning. Interesting comparison. Good job, Conor. Like from Spain. Have a nice day.
Why do you drop subtitles on the Mizuno guy but not this guy?
He just described me: mid pack runner. Curious how they design a shoe for a specific marathon time. I'm a 3:40 runner (don't judge me, I'm 61 yo).
