In practice I would say it looks difficult to get level if you're on an uneven surface, especially if you're at an event and running around. The issue is that you've got the camera and lens on top and it could be at your eyeline, and it's not clear how controllable the bottom thingy is to level it?
The A105S doesn't come up in any search - looked on their site and they don't seem to put a model number - saw it at NAB but I'm confused as other models exist.
The best doesn't always come cheap. I've got another video coming soon which goes through all my tripods and monopods and explains why each was superseded, this monopod is also in that video.

Great review. Not many reviews demonstrate cameras actually on the monopod!
