Those are great prices on the arrma vehicles for sure, but only 2wd brushed versions, which are still great! Someone looking for an out of the box 4x4 though can’t go wrong with the other two options you have there. I haven’t experienced really any lack of quality issues with my 2997A yet, other than smashing the body in the freezing cold temps. It’s been a very solid truck for me. I purchased mine for $149.99, so you know we will see that price again. I usually run it pretty hard too. I know the boost has is upgradable to 4wd, and that’s a great option, but someone wanting an out of the box experience have some pretty solid choices. Can’t forget Rlaarlo’s brushless 1/14 truggy either which kind of looks like another well know a Arrma out there. That Dee Rc looks a lot like the Rlaarlo truggy too! That’s a pretty sweet little truck!
    👍🏻😎✌🏼

Are you running your 2997A with 2s or 3s? I ran mine on 3S and the shocks broke which you already knew, now, the center diffs die, gears striped, arms bent. Only went up and down curbs and on grass! IDK

I can unfortunately not afford any Arrma products yet, I am very happy with my MJX Hyper Go's, I have not gotten round to test my MJX 14210 yet, but by the looks of it and the reviews it received so far it promises to be even better than the 16207-16209 series.

You have not watch my final thought review on 14210! Sure hope you enjoy it, just need to know it's limitations

@@customtoyrevolution Thank you my friend, the MJX is the best I can get and afford at present, and I am really impressed with it. Compared to the SCY buggy and truggy I have, this little RC is worlds ahead of them. However, the SCY's are also huge, huge fun in their own right. And the WLtoys A-959A, oh man, what an excellent little "pocket rocket"!!!

The HBX is still considered an extremely durable car by many, so I suppose you mean in regards to reliability, that the other 2 are better, which makes sense.
MJX and HBX are rebranded by a lot of companies, its hard to keep track of
I've recently acquired 3 vehicles that are either VRX or rebranded FTX. And my mate asked me to look at his HSP Flying Fish, which I found Redcat in the states rebrand as the Lightning EPX. Seems this happens quite a bit, is hard to know if your local hobby shop can support something. Here in Australia, at least in my state, its almost never

I don't know about HBX, but for MJX and all their rebrands, everything is made by 美嘉欣创新科技股份有限公司, Mei jia xin Innovation Tech. Co.,Ltd, in Guangdong China. Seems like a common business practice !

@@customtoyrevolution I wonder how much I'd have to change before I can say "Designed in Australia" if I was to resell them. Stick an FJ ute shell on the 14301 and call it a day!

Vorteks mega is easy to upgrade to take 4s.

Yes, after upgrades even to 3S brushless, those mini clones can't compete; that's of course, sometimes you do want to run a little one out of convenient.
