Near the end of the video, we started to talk about the strengths and weaknesses of different characters in DTA. I would love to see a discussion video to flush out more of this content. Favourite heroes for solo, dual and 3 or 4 player counts. The more difficult characters at each player count. As well, which characters are more difficult to play in solo but are a great asset in multi player games. Perhaps a community poll can be done to help form this discussion. Thanks for a great video and game!!
My wife and I finally got our copy yesterday and played the 1st scenario. We are hooked! Thank you guys for creating such a fantastic game and experience! I will 100% be buying the next season characters and expansions for DTA 😁
Can second that I haven't even gotten to the thic of it yet but I still want even more! Definitely don't want this to be a dead game someday and if they do end it, hope it gets a proper send off!
heyo, just in case u haven't heard, they releasing a Marvel "season." just thought i'd let u know. if ur wondering, im sure they'll do a proper S3 later, probably in a year
16:02 definatly important. i played with Trent as soon as a got him in a 3-person DTA run (also our 1st, on Veteran) and we got absolutely destroyed by the Fallen Barb. like not even close. its defiantly important
I'm really enjoying Dice Throne. I LOVE dice and I love the idea of playing a solo campaign. You did mention that you recommend playing 1v1 before playing adventures. I only play solo games (no one to play with consistently). How would you suggest to get myself acclimated to the game before playing adventures?
The recommended 1v1/non-Adventures experience is just so you understand the flow, phases, how/when to play cards, etc of your hero. Adventures doesn't repeat the rules for that, just expands on that with the dungeon crawling and boss battles. You can certainly pick a couple of heroes and play a 1v1 by yourself to learn! I'm playing Adventures solo 🙂
@@LeetTreet solo 1v1 is how I started last week when I bought set #1. Got the wife to play last night and she seemed to enjoy it, so hopefully I have an adventure partner now.
Because of the nature of the game, I think it would be pretty easy to play a 1-on-1 solitaire style. Just be trying equally hard to win as either side and you can get pretty self competitive. I can imagine someone doing that a whole bunch of times to come up with their own tier list, too. Run every possible match up 10 times, record the results, then move on to the next and repeat until you've done every matchup, then rank them by who they are more or less successful against. It would take a while, but I think it would be a fun project.
Did you guys really say I can trade in cards whenever I want!? Is there a limit to it? Wouldn’t I just draw cards and reshuffle until I always find the right card??

You guys are extremely patient, if people read the rulebook and read the rulebook again there would be a drastic drop in stupid rules questions.
I can’t wait to see what heroes come in future seasons. I’d like to see an ice or water based hero.
Playing two handed quickly taught me how to break that playing for myself mentality.
any ward on season 3? we need more of this game...
And an expansion for DTA. :-)
stay tuned lol

I really wish they just did another season of there thing...i kinda love the dice throne characters
My question would be could marvel heroes be used in adventures with their mythic cards.

Hello
Can we see a match between designers of dice throne? ✌️🎲

To my understanding you can only "trade in" loot cards, so NOT the original character cards.
Starts at 0:52
Does anyone house rule status tokens like burn, that maybe it does not work on the Pyromancer?
I feel like that ruins the balance of the game. I would just keep it as is, but you do you :)
The looks on their faces when each dumb question came in....
Kinda sad that almost every question asked is clearly answered in the rulebook.
Would love to see a Rainbow Unicorn and Dragon as two new characters in future seasons.
Can’t stand kickstarter…
