Getting motivated by this ...can't wait for sparks in the Ozarks 2021 gonna lay frame in my colorado I just got the rear done today now im waiting on tank and compressors now so I'm running off a little craftsman that I air up before I leave lol 😆
I've been wanting to do this for years. Finally stable enough and remotivated, especially after seeing this video. I have a 2000 s10 extended cab with 6ft bed and a 2011 Silverado LT 4 door. I'm doing both and I don't care what my girlfriend says 🤣🤣🤣

@@leeboss6631 as an auto technician… you’d be surprised. Vapor leak is a huge issue on dodge. Fords have poor quality plastic on their fuel system that tend to dry rot away over the years. Chevy is fairly good about it back by the tank, but I could see how aggressively dropping the vehicle down to where even a small rock in the street could impact the tank could be extremely problematic. Don’t try to justify this peacock behavior. It’s stupid, unsafe, and well… dorky.
Find me videos of people laying frame and catching on fire and we can talk. It's certainly not impossible, and certainly something most who intend on doing this go through in their builds, but unlikely to cause an issue. Otherwise any time some average Joe drags a rusty muffler we'd have cars blowing up. It's fun for some, you don't like it, that's fine.

Good thing the fuel system is right next to the sparks. You’ll find out real quick if you’ve got a leak somewhere.
Because typically people just drive around with fuel leaking out of their cars...

How do the sparks work? What is making contact?
Metal plates or bars they welded on bottom of truck
Also relocated the gas tank usually to bed of truck.
They should put an offset weight like a cell phone in the trunk on a mount

Some ppl just drag the frame and others install titanium blocks underneath that touch the ground before the frame
