Great short informative review. As newbie to watches and non- english as well i really appreciated the no- noncense approach. Too many reviewers in general tend to chitchat way to much. Saw this at discount in Norway for 800$ and tho I'm not a diver i recognize a great watch when i see it. Confirmed by your review👍

I just got one from an Ebay seller in Spain for $710.00. He has the blue dial model on bracelet for $718.00 and a green dial one 41mm GMT in gun metal gray with gun metal gray bracelet for $752 that I don't see on Bulova's page (I suspect it's a Europe only model, as there have been 41mm with all red or all black bezels for some time now that have never been sold here).
I just got the Pepsi ( my fav ) to around 825 use with 9 installments. Just love the watch, the movement, the bracelet, the lume and overall built quality.. A definite collection material ! Kudos Citizen & Bulova !
Stumbled across this model and really like it considering I'm a huge Seiko and Citizen Promaster fan. I really like the lume and the GMT adds a nice touch. Great video. I guess I'm getting a Bulova for Valentines Day😂
Very cool watch! $1,300 is way too much, but I would definitely pick one up in a few years for under $750 if the pre-owned prices are reasonable. For $1300, I’d rather get the Seiko MM200 GMT
I have a 6.75 inch wrist with the orange 41mm devil diver on the strap. It works really well and helps the watch sit perfectly. It has my stamp of approval!
Finally Bulova get that you do not have to make oversized watches. This is a beauty. But……why oh why do they put that cyclops on the crystal? And what over $1k, what is going on with watch prices at the moment?
Put the red gmt hand that's on the Pepsi one. Change the date window to 6 and maket round. And change the Bulova to Accutron logo. That would be my perfect oceanographer
Wow Chris this watch is awesome!! I’ve always been a fan of the Devil diver but that eye burning orange is a bit much for me and the 44mm case on the other variant is a bit too large for my wrist, this is perfection in my humble opinion. Great video as always catch ya later.
Ebay has a couple of European sellers selling some Europe only variations, mainly 41mm black dial Devil Divers with an all black bezel or an all red bezel. Not sure what movement these have in them as they are priced under $500. Be careful though; a couple of listings for these claim a 44mm case even though they look just like the 41mm versions. My guess is a misprint but I wouldn't take the chance without contacting them.
I love it....but I really wish it came from the factory with a bracelet. This would have been perfect to sell as a package with both the strap and bracelet. That plays into the whole theme of a diver/GMT combo. Why wouldn't Bulova do that?
it's really good design & look . most of GMT 24 hr sub dial inner # is hard to read . esp.Seiko Presage series .It's smart to combine regular hr w 24 hr dial & adding a chrono outer dial at the bezel & a clear cyclops & super lum .Bottom line everything is very easy to see !
It’s beautiful, mostly, but the A not being properly finished on the Bulova logo spoils the overall look, especially when lumed, as the top of the A isn’t machined out properly, and just looks really rough, especially for the price point.

Not guaranteeing anything but guys if your patient the price will drop like a rock in due time. I own several Bulovas a Mil Ships, orange devil diver and a Wilton and out of the gate they price very high then eventually they drop to 50 percent off MSRP or even less. If it does happen then I will buy.

If only they had one with the inner scale and the bidirectional bezel it'd be perfect. Particularly the black and white. I'd immediately sell my GMT and buy that one without a second thought
It’s better with the dive bezel IMO. Keeps diver functionality yet still lets you track a second time zone with the GMT hand. Why do you need to track 3 time zones? The two variants on the bracelet (the PEPSI and gold) have the 12 hour bezel if you must have it. $1350 is pretty steep for a Miyota GMT. I can easily find Selitta SW330’s for less in much nicer finished watches.
@@dustinr16 Actually the only reason I'm keeping an eye out for a new GMT is because I want three time zones at a glance. My current one is great, but I actually want UTC for server logs and a second time zone for Europe where my partner lives showing at all times. Currently I can flip back and forth. It's a small pain point, but I sometimes find myself needing to track another time zone on top of that for work or family or my home time when I'm traveling, which is quite often. So being able to always read the UTC time clearly and just rotating between the offsets for the other times would actually be a nice to have feature for me. Hard to find though. Some spring drives I've seen with it. But mostly the ones that do are like oris and formex using caller movements which doesn't work well for me.
@@dustinr16 quick note on the sw330s, they're a caller movement, which is fine for most people, but personally I have and would rather travel with a 3 hand watch rather than a caller movement. Just really inconvenient for anyone who is flying as frequently as I do. Definitely is expensive for that movement though, I picked up a nice traska for a white dial with that movement for 700. Hardness coated, lovely size. But I like the black on white enough that I would probably still do bite if it had the 24 hour bezel
Killer watch BUT that applied Bulova logo is just SHOCKING. the small bits of scrap joining the letters together and what happened to the A ??????? Where the hollow should be it's also filled with scrap Shocking lack of attention to detail
Too bad it doesn’t look that clear in the dark. In the actual dark all you see is a jumble of green and can’t even see the hands because they blend right in with the green background lume. Otherwise would be a winner of a watch.

Bulova is a nice try but it is a look that just cannot compete. It's so round its comical. It just does not work in as many situations as the seiko which is an evolution of a that wonderful Marine master. It's baffling why seiko did not use the 6R64 from the sharp edge gmt.

Sorry Seiko fans, Citizen kills you. And they do it with quality and NEW movements. There is simply no watch to find with QC issues. And for me the movements are better and more accurate than your standard 21600bph NH35. Well done Citizen.

Unfortunately, you notice very clearly that between 6:30 and 8:00 the lume decreases and becomes darker. I thought it would last longer.
