Great vid!
Useful stuff
Is there a benefit to laying out the drums as samples in arrangement view instead of using drum rack?
Seeing the waveforms can be beneficial, easier to really see what’s happening, especially helpful when dealing with the bigger more sustained elements or loops. Hats can be midi
@@HawksNestYT That makes sense. Thank you for that.
Easier to shape also with fade in/fade out, can variate hits to make them sound more natural
@ I can see that although you can drag the midi a little bit in order to give it that natural feel.
Do you fine tune the pitch on each layer?
Id say if it sounds better pitched then do it...
@@Adam-g-ukyea its good to give tuning a try and A/B to compare
How does he cut the clips like at 7:12 ? i dont know this shortcut
CMD/CTRL E
How to make the loops?
they've just been taken from a sample pack, this isn't a particularly original way of achieving the liquid sound

You're really just grabbing sample pack breaks and layering them? I guess i understand, but you're going to have the most generic drums in the world if you do this, lmao
You did nothing, you let loops do it.
