Bridlington is a fabulous place to visit ,one part of the harbour is a bit smelly as its a fishing port ,
Yes we found the smelly part haha, although the working boats were interesting to see
Once holidayed there, had trip on bridlington belle? Was lovely clean place.
Yea as we said at the end of the video, never believe everything you read, go experience it yourself 👍🏼
Well Said, Get it, Yes!! I Love Brid, Always Have, Invaded Is The Word!!
☝🏼❤️
Hi, we stayed at the seacourt hotel few months ago, its really nice overlooking the sea , x
We have never visited any hotels in Brid; Sam's only vacation experience was in a caravan when he was a child. What was Seacourt like?
Very good meals at the Seacourt. Excellent buffets as well.
May try that one next time, thanks for the heads up x
millions of visitors cant be wrong, sick of outsiders knocking the town i live in.
Bridlington is very popular ❤️
its a great place for your hols been there a lot only downfall not much to do when it rains
Very true 💁🏻♀️🤷🏻♂️
My wife & I frequently visit Brid. Cup of tea at caf on North beach. Stroll along prom and fish & chips for lunch. It's always clean and tidy.. don't know what some folks expect when they visit a fishing harbour and will complain about anything.
Not sure if we are misunderstanding the messages or if people arent getting the video. Maybe we come across wrong in it some how but we actually enjoyed brid and said so at the end. Always enjoyed brid and explained that don’t believe everything you read online. Hands up Cat didn’t like the smell of the fishing boats but its not for everyone and we didnt make a big song and dance about it. 💁🏻♂️
Anyway thanks for watching and commenting Michael 👍🏼
We'll be okay if you dont visit again. Withernsea or Disablethorpe will happily have you
Thanks Nathan 😩
The towns a bit run down but a lot are.
It's a nice resort though, especially when the suns out
South Beach is lovely
Fully agree, we went down the south beech and it was a nice beech, enjoyed our day out.
If its sunny I love it. I dont think its run down at all, I actually really like the place.
Another great video And if you want sea food then go to Whitby to the Magpie BUT go in about 1500 hrs and the queues will have gone as the holiday makers will have left and it is GOOD
Thanks for the advice, neither of us are huge seafood fans but enjoy some fish and chips lol
Magpie is a rip off tacky tourist sh.thole where they try and get you to eat as quickly as possible to clear the table. Far better places to eat in Whitby without the hype. Some people are gullible tw.ts
At 8:18 Not Pier or Port. - Harbour Wall.
You should try the, multi award winning,, Fish and chips from, royalty frequented, "149" -
149 Marton Road, Brid. YO16 7DJ
Will give that a go next time, thanks for the heads up 👍🏼
Ship To Shore on Flamborough Road is better. And cheaper. on a nice day North Beach Fisheries is a great place to sit down for fish and chips, though given the location dearer.
Have you done a bit on Hornsea the pottery and what not
Will maybe have an adventure there this summer 👍🏼
Me and the hubby are going for 5 days and car to wait 😊
Hope you have a fab time 🤗
If you think Bridlington is bad you want to go look at Goole, Blackburn and Nelson. You'll leave with a new perspective on what "bad" is.
We didnt think Brid was bad, infact we enjoyed it.
With shorts, you can get more subs
Going to try that, 🙏🏼
My sister and I are thinking of going to Bridlington for a week next July IF we can hire 2 mobility scooters & find a nice hotel with a lift.
Every year, twice per year my family and I holiday in the North Bay area of Bridlington. We've tried the South Cliff area but prefer the North Bay for its award winning fish 'n chips, clean safe beach, clean toilets, beautiful headland and land train station which takes visitors to Sewerby Hall or into Bridlington centre.
I suspect there are lots of memories created for many families which are cherished fondly
I always end up at the Brockton on south shore. Love it there.
Well I use to live there it’s gone down the pan go back to the 80s and 90s much better
It really wasn’t that bad, was a pleasant day out to be honest, theres good and bad were ever you go. We have found locals to be either very defensive about brid or very negative if they aren’t from brid lol💁🏻♀️🤦🏻♂️
Thanks for watching and commenting stewart 👍🏼
Think most crabs etc sold in Boston come from Bridlington.
Get me some fresh whelks!!
🤢 haha
Don't give up the day job.
Thanks dude 😩
I'm going next month, and really looking forward to my visit.
No disrespect, but your
" review " was very poor.
Thanks for your comment, sorry you found our day there a poor review. To be honest we enjoyed our day there and everyone’s experience will be different due to your own personal experiences and expectations. We hope you enjoy your trip next month
"Holiday".
Is that to correct the use of "Vacation", or that you would go on holiday there hahaha 😂
Bridlington deprived ? What ? Depends what social status you have. If someone is a baghead dosser then obviously wont see the place in the same way as someone with a well paying career living in a very nice house, of which there are many. I personally like the place, im not rich but the pubs are fun and so are the people.
Its a popular place for sure 👍🏼
I wasn't keen on Bridlington when I could walk properly, I NEED a motorbility scooter now & mine doesn't fold up, to me Brid WAS ok for half a day & that's it. There's nothing there.
Thank you for the video tho, your doing my walking for me so thanx,
Your right Lynne, Brid is a bit tight to get round in some places and okay for a day trip, I think a week would be a struggle for us too but then we are on the go constantly looking for stimulus.
Glad you enjoy the videos, that is why we do it so people you can’t get to places can have a look though our experience and enjoy beautiful places. Thanks for watching xx
There’s nothing there? what would you like to see?
Videos in general not just Bridlington lol. Having said that some people like Brid for a dY out
What a pair of fools.artificial grass woooooo, train.port smells of fish wow bad lol.😮
Pleased you enjoyed the video 🤷🏻♂️💁🏻♀️
