I am a beginner..... Your tutorials are my favorite. I started with the pebble stich but got too frustrated. This blanket stitch is a lot easier for me... I am thrilled I came across your channel.
My mum is in hospital with flu, I am going to knock her up a quick warm cardigan with this gorgeous stitch. Should be cute and warm. Thank you Crystal, my friends and family very grateful for all the jumpers and cardigans they get, inspired from your lovely work.
Praying your mum gets well soon❤❤❤
@@lindal3451 Thanks you x
You explain stitches so well. Tks.
I hope feels much better soon ❤
Hope your mom is feeling better 🙏🏼
Hi!! I'm still loving the rainbow huge blanket you did. I am in love with it and the yarn. You are sooo talented❤
I'm in love with it also, but I can't find the yarn used in it. Could you help me with that one?
I don’t even watch the video before I hit 👍. I’m just so happy to have a new Crystal video to keep me company as I work on my blanket!
I love the simplicity of this stitch and it is lovely, too! Thank you, Crystal! 🥰
This was quick, easy, and beautiful! This stitch will make a warm, heavy blanket for those cold winter months. With a thin weight-a beautiful baby blanket. Thanks Crystal!
I been in a crochet slump. I just discovered this pattern. So easy & fast. Thanks for getting me out of my slump
How did you know I was looking for a stitch like this. Thank you, Crystal. Love your tutorials.
Once again, I'm more than half way through a project, and you post another stitch I want to do. Thank you, Crystal.
What a beautiful stitch, thanks for the tutorial Crystal.
Oh Crystal, you are so remarkably talented. Thank you for sharing your tutorials. I’m continually amazed by your videos. Love your camera work, love your voice, love how you build our confidence to try the patterns and I simply love that you often start with a row of single crochet stitches which create a good foundation. And I love when you say, “Skip, skip.” Thanks for making crocheting fun! ✨💙✨
Love it , you make beautiful things where the stitch looks complicated & your explanation is so accurate which gives me inspiration & the confidence to go for it!!!!!
Thank you, very valuable for me for two reasons... I finally understood what "second stitch from the hook" means. Also, I love the hint about the last stitch being worked into the chain one stitch of the previous row for a straighter edge. 😊 Antoinette from North Carolina
I love these ones that are so pretty, not too holey, and not too heavy. So pretty.
Love the yarn, too.
Thank you, Crystal, for teaching another great stitch! 💜🥰
I've made this blanket. It was very easy. I wanted to add to it but couldn't quite remember the pattern. I'm happy to see this. I already have the variegated yarn to finish it. ❤😊
Hi Crystal, the blanket stitch is a great standby for all the reasons you said - easy stitch groupings, great texture, and can be used for just about anything. I used it with your summer scarf concept with the point in back to make a hooded shawl.
I love this stitch. In fact, it's the only stitch I work. It's beautiful on both sides.
My female cat absolutely loves watching your stitch tutorials 😊 So do I 😊
Omigosh. My cat does too!! Crystal has a whole second audience 😂😂😂

How do I join
Our pooches too!!!🐕🐕
This simple pretty stitch popped up on my screen and I grabbbed a hook and a ccake of mandala, paused my Christmas gift crocheting, and started a scarf for myself. Such a sweet simple stitch. Glad you posted this today, specifically. I needed the lift! Been working on some pretty complicated patterns, needed a break. I would chat (I watch most of you live chats) but I have macular degeneration and can't keep up.
Hi Crystal .. another Great pattern n you explained it soooo slowly n clearly n to the point.. keep on trucking n pushing those hooks ..ur a awesome teacher.God Bless ❤❤
I LOVE the blanket stitch. It is my go to stitch even I do blankets. That and your ripple afghan
I’m a newbie but glad I ran into your tutorial . Thank you for sharing this beautiful stitch. Can’t wait to try it.
This looks so pretty!
Hi Crystal, it took me two weeks to make a blanket using this stitch. Blanket turned out very nice. Impressed with how straight the edges are as well. Thank you for sharing this stitch with us.
Perfectly beautiful. Already saved in my "To Do" folder.❤ Thank you Crystal 😊
You are my favorite teacher! I so appreciate it when your foundation begins with a row of single stitches. Makes it so much easier to work the next row. I’m so excited to use this pattern for my 1st blanket ❣️
This is a great tutorial, well made, easy to follow. Thank you for sharing this tutorial with us. I hope you are feeling better.
More saved on mine by Crystal than the maybe a dozen others. She’s THE most encouraging
You did it again Crystal another beautiful easy stitch. Thank you💕
I made a foot of bed cover with this stitch and a puppy blanket. It’s so quick & easy. ❤🎉❤
You are just an amazing teacher!!! Thank you for what you do!!
Love this! An easy one row repeat with some texture. Thanks Crystal ❤❤❤
🎉thank you for this stitch! Hope you're feeling better 😊
Hey Crystal! One row repeat, noticeably textured stitch, winner winner! Thanks ever so much as always❣️ Perfect for the arrival of Fall temps coming in too!!
Nice Pooch!!! 🐕🎨🌌🌞❄
This is such a satisfying pattern! Love it! I am making a cushion using this stitch and may then do a blanket for my granddaughter with it!❤
What a pretty stitch! Ty Crystal! 🌸🌸🌸
Hope you're feeling better! 🙏 ❤
Crystal you are so encouraging on your videos that I have so far been able to do all of the patterns I’ve tried done by you. HOWEVER same rules don’t apply to that beautiful Picasso. Some of us who love to crochet quite frankly stink at granny squares. None have even appealed to me until seeing your Picasso and thinking that would be perfect for my beautiful sister. Tried three different TH-cam magic rings. One of those I liked so much I tried more times than the others. Your 5 chains first I also tried a few times. Some of us simply stink at granny squares. I feel odd, even saying that because I love to crochet❤️
This is one of my favourite stitches for scarves. It's so simple and quick with a lovely texture that I liken to soft bobbles.
Love this stitch! Going to make some dishcloths and washcloths for the bathroom. Thanks Crystal!! ❤❤
Love the texture of this and the nice straight edges.
Absolutely gorgeous! I'm going to have to make some Hospice blankets with this stitch. Thank you for another new stitch tutorial 💜
Thank you Crystal! I'm positive I learned this from you before. 😅
I made a blanket over the last two days with it out of all my scrap yarn. Movie night blanket.
This is the simplicity my brain was looking for!! Thank you 😊
I just made a blanket with this stitch with the orange premier gradient yarn 🧡for a lovely lady that needed a blanket to keep her warm at church. I put a beautiful single crochet and treble crochet border around it. I didn’t know that’s what you call it. Perfect! Thank you ☺️
That is a beautiful stitch and I am in love with that pink! My cousin would LOVE this!! Somehow you make something for everyone I know!
Hi there-so easy thank you I’m crocheting along and I’ll make a pumpkin 🎃 out of it.
Thank you!! I love this and am now making a blanket with this stitch! Love it!
Hi Crystal, thanks for another great stitch tutorial. I’ve made quite a few blankets/throws with this stitch but never knew what it was called. Lovely, I enjoy every video and appreciate every tutorial even the ones I don’t make, I watch anyway.
I really think I can do this!!!
You can do it. You got this!
I love it! I can wait to try it and show it off to my prayer shawl group

Love your stitch tutorials!! I’m working my way thru a Granddaughter list of cardigans, and this will become my next one! I love to have a plan for the next one on the ready. (I just started another of your stitches into a cardigan today-it’s working up beautifully❤). Thank you so much❤❤❤
I just finished a blanket and was going to look for a different stitch to use. Thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing this stitch ,Im in love with this easy beautiful stitch . Thank you❤
Hi Crystal, the blanket stitch is so pretty. Another addition to my to-do list. 🧶🫂
Loving the texture! Thanks for the pretty stitch.❤
This is exactly one of two patterns 7:41 I happen to be working on now except the doubles on mine are half doubles. Video I picked it up from calls it cloud pattern includes matching cloud border. I’d already decided from now on my half doubles will be doubles on this pattern to build blanket a little faster. And I see on crystals emphasizes the cloud look though they are stair stacked exactly the same on mine. This is definitely one of my favorites
I love the blanket stitch, simple but it looks so nice! I'm making my oldest grandaughter a blanket using the blanket stitch. She wanted her high school colors...purple, black & white. The dark purple & black are kind of tough to see my stitches! I love when i get to the white section..lol
Thanks for the great pattern. I have to make a baby blanket for a new baby on the way and this is perfect!
Hello bag of day and family. I love this stitch.
Thanks for this tutorial! Love your tutorials!!
Love it! One of my favorite stitches to use. Thanks Crystal 😊
Thank you so much for this video. I found a pattern for a baby blanket using this stitch & I just couldn't get the edges to look right. I've restarted using this as my guide & already it looks so much better!
That is working up really nice.
Hi Crystal. This is a beautiful stitch. Would this stitch work well with a gradient yarn or Caron cloud cakes? I just bought the cloud cakes and love it. It's so pretty and so soft. Thank you for the tutorial. Have a great night. Donna. 💜💜💜💜💜
This is lovely. I want to make a wrap with that stitch. Thank you
This looks like a great stitch for a sweater.
I just love a simple one row repeat❤ thanks Crystal 😊
I’ve always loved this stitch. Thanks Crystal!❤😊
Love the pattern, thank you. I will use this for a baby blanket I have to make for someone. Already have the yarn. Thank you again❤❤❤❤
Simple and simply pretty! Thank you! 🦋
Love this stitch it will be my new go to stitch thank you
Love the color 🍁
❤❤❤ Thank you for this simple stitch. Who knew? I didn't 😊. Great tutorial Crystal!
This is very pretty. Thank you for yet another beautiful tutorial ❤
Hi Crystal, I have been making a few beanies as I mentioned with the yarn from dollar tree, Gonna take a break & catch up on your tutorials & chats. I can’t believe all I have learned from you, even though I would love to get nicer yarns, I’m ok with using this yarn to make the beanes. Thanks for all ya do❤
Lovely stitch - thanks so much Crystal 🤗🧶🩷
Hi Crystal…I just tried this stitch with variegated yarn after watching the tutorial and I love it! The only thing I couldn’t tell was where my turning chain was below the last stitch.
This stitch would look beautiful on a hat or even a rug. I wonder if it can be worked in the round thank you bod❤ I really appreciate your tutorials
That's beautiful easy. Ill be starting something tonight. Thank you so very much!!!❤
Oh that’s a super pretty stitch. Ty Crystal ❤❤❤
This is a very pretty stitch. 😊
For me, your timing is perfect! Thank you so much.❤❤❤
Hello Crystal! Pretty ! Is it a yarn eater?! 😄 Thank you for another Fantastic stitch. God Bless. Take care. Love you. ❤️😇🙏
Probably not as it's made if SC and DC only and no more stitches than in the foundation row. Not pulling up extra loops like with a star stitch I think it's called. I know from experience that one is a yarn eater!! From a blanket which is made of 72 squares each made from 8 different stitches in same stich/same color. It was a Dutch pattern and I had bought equal amounts of yarn for each patch/block. Some was barely enough to make 9 same squares like star stich and other stitches I was left with a whole "ball" of yarn.
😂 sorry for my poor English.
Needless to say the blanket still isn't finished (1.5 meters wide and 2 meters long and it was my first crochet project ever).
Now I'm sticking with Chrystal because she can explain in10 minutes what others take 30 minutes and don't even give tips and tricks how to get your sides even and stuff like that
Stick with Crystal!🌝
This is one of my favourite stitches. 😍
Thank You once again for another easy great video!
Pretty and simple = perfect!!!!
Thank you Chrytal, I enjoy your videos and will definitely try this one :)
Love it!!! Thank you for sharing this!
👋 Crystal! Using cotton yarn as I follow along. Towel and dishcloth set on hook now. Thanks alot! 🫶
Love how this works up. Is there a way to calculate how much yarn you would need in a size 6 yarn for a throw size project? Thank you for sharing this.
