This might just be the new blanket I've been looking for. Thank you, Crystal, excellent as always.
Nice! You made a hat a couple of months ago called "Everything But The Kitchen Sink". When I finally get around to making a stitch sampler blanket with all the wonderful stitches you're showing us, it's gonna be called, "Sink Included" 🤣
😂😂
This is a great idea to make a stitch sampler from these tutorials!
🤣😂😁😅😂🤣

I am loving these new stitch tutorials! 😊 keep them coming!
Thank you! Will do! 😊
I just joined, and I can’t tell you how happy I am that I found you. You explain everything beautifully. I am 73 years old now and I’m having a hard time following patterns even though I’ve been crocheting since I was a little girl. Thank you I’m so happy I found you.
Thank you! I'm happy you find my videos helpful 🥰
What a pretty stitch! I agree with you that it would be beautiful top.
Wow endless ideas of what to make with this stitch, thanks.

Very pretty and a 1 row repeat? I love it! Thanks, Crystal! ❤
I'm crocheting along with the video, pausing as needed. This is going to be a scarf for my aunt. She has COPD, and this should help during this Midwestern winter. Thanks, Crystal! ❤
Nothing like waking up, cup of coffee, and a BOD stitch tutorial!! You are just dah bomb Crystal❤
Yeah stayed up very late to finish a C2C shawl w/border. So yes, it's morning for me😊
You are such a dang good teacher! Steady and calm! ❤❤❤
Wonderfully textural and dense
That makes a really pretty fabric that looks like you fussed over it but didn't! Thanks, Crystal :)
You always make these tutorials seem so easy! I love the fabric this makes. Thank you!
I love this. I’m going to give this a try. I really like this.
I am always amazed that you teach these stitches in a way that makes them so easy! I have tried a few others that I have ended up being so frustrated. I will continue to follow and learn from your videos! Thanks again!

Any chance you could post your pattern? I would love to do exactly that!
@paulasiefert2059 I don't have an actual pattern written out, just my scribbles that I use lol. I don't mind writing it up though. Give me a few days :)
So easy I love it, thanks Crystal
Awesome. Love a 1 row repeat, especially for afghans and scarves. 😊 Stay healthy and blessed.

Amazing how a simple double crochet stitch can be made to look so lovely. Thank you so much for your help, Crystal. You put so much effort into your patterns and videography. Your teaching and encouragement are such an inspiration for me. I really like your hat patterns and think this stitch would look nice in a hat. Any suggestions for doing it in the round? Multiples?

Love this stitch and really enjoy your tutorials! I still struggle with how much yarn I need to make a blanket. Can you give me an estimate on how much I would need to make a blanket using this stitch and acrylic yarn? Thank You.....and a Big Thank You for putting these tutorial out there, very much appreciate it!
Very pretty, thanks for sharing! ❤️🇺🇸🦄🧚
You are such a good teacher! You also make your tutorials funny , entertaining and like a nice friendly chat session. I find everything I could possibly want to make on your site. Thank you ❤
Beautiful stitch! But not what I was expecting. For some reason I was expecting dc 2 rows at a time! Ha ha!
Could you please do a tutorial for that please!!
You’re the best!
Hello Crystal, I love your videos. I have learned so much from you. You are so right, this stitch looks so beautiful and can’t wait to get started on a blanket with it. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
I love this! These are what I call mind numbing stitches. I have low vision with eventual blindness. I can crochet this without looking at it and really without thinking about it. Thank you so very much! ❤❤❤
Mos bros small pink one is small and great
I never realized how many stitches there really are
😊oooooh I love the texture. Neat!!!🧡✌️
This is a nice starting one. I wonder though Crystal- could you distinguish between the stitches need to chain for foundation vs stitches in the pattern? I am doing a stitch sampler scarf and it gets confusing about how many stitches I need if I already have a row is sc to build off of. 😊
Iam expecting some yarn excited. One yarn is called dragon color which is 4weight and is spring colors
Hi, can you do single double stitches in the chain and then two double crochet stitches together for the second row? Just repeat that pattern.
Quick, easy, one-row repeat: the trifecta of stitches. What’s not to like?!
Don’t forget “pretty”!
I don't know why, but at first glance, this reminded me of the lines in green grass after it has been freshly mowed. Beautiful stitch.
After a year of afghans made with row after row of double crochet, I’ve started to try some new stitches. Thank you for your patient tutorials. I’m having a blast
Crystal, you have the best stitch tutorials on the planet. This is one of those mindless stitches that can be used when watching tv. Thanks to the stitch tutoral Queen. Aka Crystal. Wishing you and yours Happiness, Health and peace.
What a beautiful and fairly simple blanket! Thank you for your tutorial. ❤
I want the purple, but the only thing I could find was the black and the pink hot pink. Let me know if you find the purple.
Love this stitch! Thanks Crystal! I am challenging myself to do an afghan (lapghan) for charity, 1 for each month, so am looking for 12 fast and easy patterns. This will definitely be one of them!
Thank you for such and easy, yet beautiful stitch. You’re an amazing teacher. 🥰🧶
Very pretty stitch, would make a nice shawl 😊
Love this...something mindless so the muscle memory repeat will be easy...it really is a lovely pattern...thank you Crystal🙂
Christal where can i find the writen instructions. and print it. thanks
I like the stitch :-) I wonder if it could be made into a Chevron? That would work up some nice and quick, charity blankets!
Great idea!
❤ .... ty....
I love it! Would make a nice hat, also. Sew it up and cinch the top!!
All the benefits of double crochet while still being interesting. Thanks!! Crystal's new scale of see-through is right up there in greatness with yarn-eater scale. 💜🥰
I’m loving the new series of stitch combos!
Bonus points for shorter videos. I’m all for a full length tutorial but can’t keep up with several new videos longer than a half hour dropping so often. Mixing up the short and longer ones is great because I do truly want to support by watching the full videos.
This is really pretty and makes a nice looking fabric. Love that green!
We have new neighbors & I’m going to make them a throw using this stitch & some yarn I got from Ice!
Crystal I love these stitch tutorials its always fun to learn all the different stitches thank you so much.
Love how easy and the end result is beautiful ❤️❤️
Thanks Crystal. Love these stitch series. ❤️❤️❤️
I like the looks of this ! I might have to make a throw using tutorial stitches 😉😘
I love waking up to your tutorials. 🥰
Thank you!
Me too! I am lying in bed watching the tutorial and now I’ve got to jump up and get ready for work really quick lol
Thank you for the solid stitch rating!
Love this. Have crochet for years and had forgotten this stitch this will be my next blanket.
I love your videos, you make it so easy to follow.
So beautiful ❤️❤️❤️ You truly inspire me!!! Thank you Crystal for all your Amazing tutorials!!!
Thank you for this stitch. I like it!
This is gorgeous. I really love it.
I just love your videos, you make the process so clear. I do have a question about this pattern....I am putting two stitches in every stitch in the row? My blanket seems wavy like I'm adding stitches PLEASE HELP this old gal 😢
Beautiful stitch
Thank you!
Crystal, you are my idol! I love your tutorials. So easy. Well, mostly. I've been following you for about 3 years. I'm wondering if this pattern would make a summer crop top for my granddaughter who is tiny and likes showing her belly. Should I use a smaller hook so not too much shows? I am using Red heart Unforgettable and you know how it gets a bit thin in places. Do you have any advice for me? You are the best!
What a great stitch. Would make a nice scarf and hat
Great video tutorial as always!! I do have a question, how do you keep your chain from becoming too tight when working stitches like this? As I’m working thru the afghan I notice my initial chain is taught where the rest of the blanket is relaxed. I have tried going up a hook size for the initial chain but that didn’t seem to help. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!!
Hi I’m love your videos and patterns. I’ve made four afghans for gifts. What I’m wondering is an I hook was used but can I use a J or K hook? Just to be looser and lighter?
Cool! I'm always looking for a more solid stitch. I like herringbone DC for that reason. But I might have to use this for my husband's hoodie I was gonna make him. I was thinking of doing plain dc and then alpine stitch on the shoulders for a bit of added warmth but I think I'll use this stitch instead of plain dc's. Thanks Crystal! ❤
