The ocucor can't perform on its own though right? My occucor is def weaker than yours but I can only kill lvl 135 SP enemies after expending multiples mags of my ocucor. And even when I do prime the enemies and stack up sentient surge the damage is incredibly minimal... Do you have to use nourish/roar/eclipse to make the ocucor work?
Ocucor can kill SP enemies without any problems in my experiencei usually do use ocucor on frames that don't have buffs like loki in spy etc, the enemies at the start ish (before 2:30) were killed by clones that have only 80% of my dmg and no buffs. I assume ones ur struggling with are armored SP enemies like heavy gunners? i tried just now and the build i have on it killed lvl 135 heavy gunners even without any arcane, no buffs (and no base dmg from hornet strike either) without any bigger problems after the 1st one, which in real mission would be something weaker like butcher propably but even heavy gunner took around 2s with no tendrils before hand etc. is there something more specific you'd like to ask about it?
@@thatblank9036 Hmm. My question would be why my ocucor doesn't seem capable of killing SP enemies. Or is it that my mods aren't fully modded? Max: Lethal Rottent, Sentient Surge, Pistol Pestilence, Ice Storm, Heated Charge, Ruinous Extension Galvanized Shot is 2 away Galvanized Crosshairs is 1 away Primed Target Cracker is 3 away Rank 5 Cascadia Flare (I guess I can replace Ice Storm with Deep Freeze but would that 50% cold do that much of a difference?) I find that in Simulacrum and a SP E Prime that I wasn't able to kill the first enemy on the first mag. It was against a level 101 Elite Frontier Lancer and I had to use 135 ammo to kill him and got the ammo reload but didn't kill the next guy. Only way I've found I could do it is by priming with my Latron Incarnon or using 99% roar on my protea.
@@ethannguyen9638 Don't use galvanized crosshairs on the ocucor. Use Galivanized diffusion instead. Also this person is using roar with it, I'd suggest doing the same.
@@ethannguyen9638 Ocucor does benefit a lot from extra status chance so if you have it frostbite is better than ice storm (more heat procs and viral procs to weaken the enemy and heat proc kills give tendrils as well) lethal torrent is not that great for the only multishot mod cause multishot is another dmg multiplier so that's the place your build is lacking the most at in damage, galvanized or even just barrel diffusion will help with the kills/ammo spent. Another very significant place where damage suffers is at the galvanized crosshairs, only statuses that can do headshots are electric and gas (and good number of your kills with ocucor are from heat procs being few hundred k's), and tendrils aim at enemy center mass so it's rare for them to ever hit headshots, better one would be creeping bullseye if you don't have primed pistol gambit cause that will be reliable source of crit for ocucor and other status heavy weapons
@@eryu5879 i didn't use roar with it and it's not really necessary once ocucor is properly built, but yes i did have eclipse and nourish after the first lil bit of showing the clones stacking up tendrils for themselves without buffs and only having 80% of my dmg
My favourite sidearm, I use it with Dante as a weapons platform running nourish. So much fun and it eats steel path mobs.
