When politicians are not doing well, they like to create a public enermy. The same tactics used by Malaysia about its neighbours. But ask yourself what are the benefits versus effort. Much like to government is survelling everyone insignificant individual. Unless you are dangerous or significant enough.
Canada has very little place in USA weapon design and manafacturing design compare to a selected EU much like Germany, France and UK. To be honest, all allies had never contribute to Canada. So why do they want to intervene. We are more regulated by USA than any other place. They wanted us to sell our unprocessed cheap oil and lumber, and resell back to Canada with expensive processed one.
We have ability to build and create those plants but no we will let USA do that. When currency drops, yes labour drops but guess what? Yes, a lot of our material cost goes up cause we buy mostly from USA. Any chance to recover? I don't think is a difficult guess

Meanwhile, the last Conservative government, in which Poilievre was a cabinet minister, signed a "Cooperation " agreement with the Chinese Military and kept it secret from Canadians who only found out about it from the Chinese government. Yes, you read that right. Conservatives also pulled Canada into FIPA - the worst, most anti-worker, trade & investment pact ever crafted - binding us to a terrible deal withChina for 31 years that hobbled the next 7 Canadian Governments.
FIPA was signed in secret in Vladivostok, Russia. There was just one hour of discussion at the trade committee, no vote in Parliament, and no public consultations on the deal. FIPA using a hockey metaphor, allows only a select few to play on Team Canada on a small patch of ice in China and to be fouled, without remedies or referees. While Team China can play anywhere on Canadian ice, can appeal referee calls it dislikes and negotiate compensation for damages while in the penalty box behind closed doors.

Poilievre is a millionaire career politician who's been gorging at the public trough and serving the interests of elites for 20 years. He now lives in a taxpayer funded 19 room mansion complete with private chef & servants - with monthly water bills of up to $7500 and annual cleaning bills of $170,000.

On a video where the CCP is being attacked. Clearly this account is proof of just how far the CCP will go to try and influence Canadians. If the CCP want to defund the CBC and follow Pollievre talking points, that means the CPC are bad news for actual Canadians.
